Welcome to the August 2022 Community Spotlight, this month we have seen a significant increase in new players and a brand new update allowing players to create custom signs. This has seen a huge increase in roleplay builds, so this spotlight will be a hefty one. As per usual, nominations were taken from Player Showcase on Discord so if you would like a chance to be featured then consider putting your build or others in Discord.

Ellie has been featured numerous times in the spotlight before but here is another one of her amazing builds featuring the new sign update, it is a store called Wolf Industries. Ellie has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement for her efforts.

Terrence Smith was another one of the first people to make good use of the new sign update, here you can see he has created his shop using a number of newly introduced props and with some custom signs. He has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement.
It isn't so much a major roleplay build but the use of the new sign update on the wooden frame here is amazing. It's basically a conspiracy theory board, take a look. Yaboi Spooky has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement.

Another feature from one of our very own helpers. Rogue built a store in the Bazaar called RotoMart which again makes great use of the new signs. Rogue has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement for his efforts.

A great shop build at Bazaar by Jamal Murdason, very nice colour choice and use of signs. I liked how the signs in the build are all of the same theme. Bxan has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement for this build.

A great use of the public building rule exception where lamb has decked out one of the petrol stations making use of the new sign update. There are two versions of this which can be seen in Discord, this being the most recent one.
A relatively small build but I thought the use of signs on the tables in this casino was perfect and looked like the table had a decal on it which is clearly what you were going for. Chris has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement.

It's somewhat rare to have a taxi driver on duty but Harry Lend was seen playing as a taxi driver and making use of the new sign update, which looks really cool. He has been awarded Roleplay Acknowledgement.
CLOSING INFORMATION
Staff Recruitment
You will notice there are an increase in staff members, mostly helpers that have been recruited. This is to tackle the significant increase in demand given that there are 128 players on the server we have a huge increase in reports that come with it. If you are an experienced member of the community and are thinking about putting in a helper or enforcer application, this is a good time to do it.
New Player Increase
In addition to the above, given that there are a large number of new players I would kindly ask that we all do our bit to help guide these players and point them in the right direction for further support. Any players noticed being exceptionally helpful may be featured in the next community spotlight.
Discord Giveaways
A number of giveaways have been hosted on the Discord, if you haven't yet linked your account to Discord this is a good time to do so. There are a number of helpers available or contact myself if you are struggling to connect your Discord. There will be more giveaways to come for both linked members and server boosters. If you would like to feature in the next community spotlight it is worth noting that most nominations are taken from Player Showcase on Discord.
