Should food and drinks be changed to a more RPG like system?
This is a simple question, but it's something that has been thrown back and forth for the better part of 17 years if you include the original Pulsar Effect RP community in 08'.
When I say, "Should it be an RPG like system?" I don't mean being able to cast fireballs and bind on people, but I do mean having food effect the player in more tangible ways outside of the bog standard thirst and hunger. For example, should food influence how you play? Maybe after drinking an energy drink you get a speedboost of ~10% or when you eat a fish you can swim without losing as much stamina. It seems stupid, but stuff like this opens the door to possibilities in the server for an entirely new economy that has a greater impact on everyone's playstyle.
What economy you might ask? Imagine you have to grow crops and catch fish/wildlife, and then you can cook them and then can sell them at your respective stores. Each recipe has unique effects that allow players some sort of minor stat boost. Nothing to extreme, but enough to be noticeable. You could even throw in debuffs for certain foods that counteract other boosts.
But the big question here is... Would this be worth it?
Just want to see what everyones views are and what they'd see as acceptable for an updated farming/cooking system.
