Im trying to learn a new coding language

Hey everyone I was wondering if someone could help me learn a code language. Not really going to teach but atleast get me starting and help me choose a language. My dad is an apple freak so Im not getting a windows computer but I have this Wineskin app so I can run windows applications.

Anyways I need to choose a coding language and is it easy for people that dont know shit about coding?

What I'd recommend for a first timer would be C#, it's a lot simpler then any other language regarding the way you code, you don't have to worry about your memory plumbing or those damned pointers.

You can do it through Mono and Xamarin Studio, or if you are on Windows: Visual Studio will be your best bet.
