Maybe we should disband the Police Department as it's just a virtual server??? Your argument seems to be because it's a virtual server we shouldn't have any of these processes that allow the wider community to get involved into projects that we've made.

I don't think you're getting the damn point. He saying that the server is too fucking serious and there are things in this community that are just over the fucking top like the dam council. Yeah it may be a good addition, but it's over the fucking top

ITS GMOD FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, not some fucking gay RP Game where you have to pay $30 to just get the fucking download link

Now you are just. being facetious, I am saying there has been positive developments and bad developments , the PLPD is good but I do not like other things which is why I highlighted said things

I guess back to my first point then

https://perpheads.com/forums/law-reform.42/ - making the server in-game orientated, doesn't that make sense for an in-game server???? People do still make law suggestion, there is a bit of discussion from ALL players on the forum. The Council announce what will be discussed about a week in advance so you can either go on the forum and challenge it or turn up at the meetings.

Rather than trying to be funny by using images why do you not read the discussion and post a meaningful reply?

I am, just look above the pictures. I found the pictures pretty amusing and really lightened my day.

And if you took the time to read instead of find images you would realise that I contested your idea of having to protest meetings because it was a tad too far .

The PD has far more processes, policies and regulations than the council and yet the council is too serious?

Nah fam. You can chose to get involved or you can chose to ignore it but you have no ground to say its not useful.

I have said that it limits how much fun you can have while on duty because of regulations??

So to simple protest (which means to make a statement against, or actions in some cases) is way too extreme? I don't understand how challenging a point/discussion is too much.

I think we're also avoiding quite a portentous elephant in the room here - the gamemode is PERP. I can't think of a single time in the PERP gamemode's history where it's been this serious and the simple reason for that is that it was never meant to be serious. At its core it's basically cops and robbers with drug plants and a couple of rules to make it tolerable. I personally think a more refined version of mid 2015 would be fine, obviously accounting for any rules that would come along with any new features/content added.

I think that you are wrong and that the images really aid the conversation.

As I previously said, it is the context and the way we are meant to peform it, you used to be able to rate disagree and do -support now you have to go in game (or teamspeak where no one would listen) and physically protest a virtual law???

We should allow cops to murder anyone with a gun.

Gun out = kos/aos.

/me weapon check

The only laws should be murder and printing.

You refuse to protest an idea yet you are willing to post umpteen replies protesting the system.

I do sometimes get the feeling that the police department gets some members who become too serious for it to be seen as just a game but don't think this is a fair representation of all the users of PERP and the server itself. In all honesty, there are many other less serious servers that have the same playstyle as this one if you wish to join them.

Fucking hell you take things out of context? Regulations are there for a reason but where do we cross the line where it is too strict for an online gamemode?

me irl waiting for my homies to help me back up from the dumb ratings, thank you @Hazza56 @LordTyla @Exrobite @John Daymon @ayjay

On a serious note (sorry for pictures I see it triggers y'all) this has just gone completely off topic, if you don't agree with things, why not post in the relevant section and provide a way to make it better? Don't get me wrong, open discussions are great however as we can see this has just gone bazaar (hehe xd) pls close.

The project of the PD is to simulate a real life police force.

Tyla can i join your crime division

Tyla can we meet up some time

I mean the server is good the way it is now, PLC is a nice thing and I like what it is now.

You have to understand that the whole thing has changed from what it was before, PERP was a very unserious server that is constantly going through a phase where things are going more serious than others and people have to adapt to that

Closed

Go ahead and make a suggestion instead of just having a fat discussion war on the forums, it's rather useless
