Description of the idea:
Threatening the NPC to open the cell doors also opens the door leading to the cells.

Cops hiding in the jail cell area have an incredibly disproportionate advantage over PD Raiders as without a bomb, you will need to crowbar or bobby pin the door without anywhere to run to if a cop starts shooting through the door.

Officers already have a massive advantage over PD raiders due to how easily fortified
Why should this be added? (pros):
- Makes sense
- No more mindless wallbanging from cops hiding in cells

What negatives could this have? (cons):

We could just make it so those doors can't be locked?
That wouldn't be a viable and logical thing to do. PD Doors are locked for a reason, to stop them getting in, it's not hard to use a crowbar or bobby pin to open it with a decent team.

The first set of stores would still need to be lock picked. It would just be the second set of doors that stop criminals after they've already forced the cells open.

Pd should be hard to raid, may as well unlock all pd doors.
How will this make raiding PD easier when this is the last door you need break-in and if you're using a crowbar good luck not being pelted with bullets through a narrow hallway

remove the door same as the office

i think officer roof door got remove for same reason
The door got removed because you could sit at any angle and spray through it when someone tried bobby pinning it, but that's different, PD is meant to be more secure than an Office block.

How will this make raiding PD easier when this is the last door you need break-in and if you're using a crowbar good luck not being pelted with bullets through a narrow hallway
That's the risk you take when raiding PD, What do you expect? If someone who's Murdered cops etc goes into jail, most cops will try and keep PD Secure. Do you think we'd just let you waltz right in and break him out? If that NPC had a gun, he'd probably go near jails and spray through the door when you tried Bobby Pinning it.

@Jimmy Jackson we expect a difficult but possible fight, not to be stuck in a doorway hiding Next to an elevator because it’s the only bollock of cover from cops shooting through a door. A PD Raid is supposed to be a difficult task, for both the officers and PD raiders.

see you want the office to stay remove because if you trying to bobby pin it you will get spray same as the pd but pd are worst and more OP because its have long corridor even if you bobby or crowbar

office you can crowbar it 1 and take cover the passage is not long as the pd but the pd is much longer as you can see

If the jail area is to hard to secure when raiding, maybe the solution is a map change? @Collier @Madda
But then again, it should be hard to raid the PD, and shouldn’t be done unless completely needed. And, the most realistic way would be to go in stealthy instead of rping as some IS soldier firing RPGs in the back of a truck.
