Suggestion Title: Job - Pastry chef
Suggestion Description:
Pastry chef is an employee of Fredy's Bakery. He makes Donuts, Bread Rolls/Buns and Noodles from scratch from locally sourced ingredients. Those are later made into the Burgers, Hot Dogs, Donuts and Chinese Takeout we know and adore. As a Pastry chef you can pick up ingredients, bake, make noodles, deliver the goods, get payed and if you wish, repeat.

What do you need/get as a Pastry Chef:

  • GMC Vandura - White + Freddies Bakery logo on the sides
  • Donut - Yeast, Sugar, Eggs, Milk, Water, Flower - Baked
  • Burger Bun/Bread Roll - Water, Flower, Salt, Yeast - Baked
  • Noodles - Water, Flower - Dried
  • Oven (For baking and drying the noodles), Table (for mixing the ingredients), Beaker, Pyrex dish and Propane tank.

Mechanic for mixing the ingredients could be done by placing the ingredients inside the beaker and waiting for them to mix inside. The dough can not get spoiled by mixing it too much.
Mechanic for cooking/drying the ingredients could be done the same as it is done with drying the cocaine. Finished product can get spoiled by leaving the flame too high or by leaving it in the oven too long after it is ready.

Method:

  1. Buy a shop at Bazaar/Business
  2. Buy a Gastro License (Price is up to a debate) at CH and Mark your shop as the one used for the production (In case you have multiple). At City Hall you also get the Table, Oven, Pyrex dishes, Beakers and propane Tanks.
  3. Pick up your Van and go set up at your shop (placing the oven and the table)
  4. Get a message from Fredy to go pick up supplies at Courier Depot (does not matter if there is courier or not). The message also includes what and how many of the different pastries you need to make.
  5. After having the dough (should take around 1 minute to make the dough) ready, you place it into the pyrex dish and bake it on a 3 - propane tank. For the noodles to dry it will 1 on the propane tank. (The process of drying/baking should take the same as cocaine does without the propane tank)
  6. Finished pastries should be stored in a box (similar to the candy packaging).
  7. After you are ready you text Fredy's number with the message "ready". And he tells you which bakery you have to deliver the product to. After making your delivery you get paid (Have not decided on the prices yet).

Other:

  • Pastry chefs can be mugged, but only of their own possessions, not the supplies/machines for the bakery. They can carry guns, but cannot place chem tables, planters or anything drug related (This could change in the future if edibles get included in the Drug Overhaul).
  • Yeast, Flour, Eggs need to be added. Flour could be repurposed Salt and Yeast can have the same packaging as Sucrose powder or Starch. Dough would just be a substance inside the Beaker and Finished product would be a box - named Box of Bread rolls/Buns/Donuts/Noodles.
  • Van is not that big of a necessity, but it would definitely look cool and professional.
  • Players are not employees of the City, but they still pay the Income Tax. They have a regular pay from Fredy, which would change depending on how many Burgers/Hot Dogs/Chinese Takeout/Donuts are sold (between 100 - 150 for example).
  • I'm not really sure how this would go coding wise, but as most of the stuff is taken from already existing mechanics I hope this would not be too difficult to implement.
  • Suggestions regarding the pricing, processes or any other pros/cons are welcome.

Why should this be added?:
- Nice, but active job you can do while having a shop set up.
- Players are already used to making drugs so the process is not that different.
- Convienence - Players can set up anywhere they want and can still tend to their shop.

What negatives could this have?:
- Depending on the pay, it could be too much work.
- Players prefering to do other jobs or doing drugs instead.

There’s a civilian cooking system already planned that would be better than this as it allows players to cook for their own business.

I understand your point, but this is not focused on civilian food. It is just a way to make money. After all the product in my suggestion is not supposed to be eaten or sold/bought by players. Also I don't think that people will make money with the civilian cooking system, unless the food is OP or very cheap.
