Description of the idea:
Release the following statistics to the general playerbase:
- Weapon stats (Damage, Fire rate, vehicle damage, penetration depth)
- Vehicle stats. (Speed, trunk space, Fuel usage, Repair costs, Turning circles, acceleration)
- Effects of drugs ( I Don't even know what stats are boosted by what drugs except meth boosting strength)

Currently half the playerbase is essentially being forced for trial and error when it comes to figuring certain weapons, cars and items out, and most the time they get the wrong estimation.

Why should this be added? (pros):
- Helps people better understand the game.
- Proper stat knowledge for nerds is always a good thing.
- Miles more helpful.

What negatives could this have? (cons):
- Might contribute to creating new metas (Implying that there isn't already solid meta's)

I think all the data except for RoF and Damage is public and known by players. Maybe make a guide for it on help.perpheads. another option would be to have this all in one place. Maybe a website like paralakecars.club

SMG numbers were shared with me once if you ask nicely enough but I fear if people see the actual stats of all the weapons they will create retarded ass metas on which gun performs the best and do some Tarkov-esque min-maxing shit.

I don’t really want metas personally, it’s a roleplay server not a FPS.

But lets be honest it's treated as a FPS. Heck even the new trailer is basically showcasing that it's a FPS style server.

I don't think it would lead to metas. People would have to be pretty addicted to study it in such depth to come up with a meta, especially considering new weapons and changes are made regularly.

The new trailer was to show off the content of the server in an exciting fashion. There was actually minimal shooting.

You’re seriously underestimating how addicted to the server some of the player base get. I can guarantee there would be a matter within a week. It isn’t that hard to figure out.

So we shouldn't introduce something because people would use it too much? It's entirely up to the user whether they want to study the data and stats in detail, or just glimpse over them to see which gun or car is better. I really don't see how it's a bad thing. If people are gonna sweat, they'd sweat regardless.

We would be enabling the behaviour.

People wanting to put time and effort into playing the server is a bad thing?

Surely as CM you'd want to be enabling as much activity with the community and the server as possible? Yet you're opposed to just releasing some stats about the things people use in game? What's with the hostility to the idea I really don't get it. This should be something you'd support

I would rather have 40 players who were roleplaying than 60 who were treating the server as an esport. The changes I have made at the moment and planned in the future aim to push people towards roleplaying rather than stretching PERP across three screens to see someone from beach to docks.

Without trying to sound too pessimistic, what things do you have planned that could really warrant denying this pretty simple suggestion. People have tried to Roleplay for years, and it often gets shit on sadly.

This suggestion can actually help new players, who are often limited with funds and need to make economical decisions. You only seem to be focussing on the negatives.

"just because i got this community rank because nobody else wanted it means i know better than everyone else and that im special"
I mean, I was just discussing with Duffy. I am not saying I am right, I was just explaining my thought process, I am absolutely not going to be right about everything hence why I am discussing it.

I can see how this can have a positive on the people trying to use meta guns, but at the same time it just removes the fun of discovering a good gun and combinations that go with it and as Creepis said it would just make a lot of guns useless since everyone will just try to minmax the best possible gun.
