Message from the Chiefs
“Recruitment for the role of Staff Sergeant is now well underway, and our Primary Command teams will be conducting interviews and offering positions to the most suitable candidates shortly. We very much look forward to seeing these roles being fully implemented and the positive changes that will be brought to the Department by doing this. During the month of February, we also issued several awards to colleagues throughout the Department for their excellent service throughout the year of 2021. More details on the results of this have been published via the PERPHeads Forums, PLPD Online and as part of this Monthly Newsletter below. I hope that you join me in congratulating these individuals for their hard work and service to the Department.
In addition to Staff Sergeant recruitment and awards, the Chief of Department and I intend to begin running our first Pan PLPD session, where people will have the opportunity to ask questions to senior management and the wider command teams to have questions or queries answered. Keep an eye out for the announcement for this over the upcoming weeks.
Thank you for reading this message, and if you do wish to get in touch with myself or Chief of Department Acer Joseph, feel free to open up a ticket directed towards the Office of Chiefs of Department or send either of us a PM directly.”
