It may not be very cheap but the mic is extremely good, but don't buy the White version, it sucks

My friend uses the Samson Meteor, the mic quality for the price is amazing in my opinion.

I've been using the Audio-Technica ATR-2500 for about 4-5 years now, got it for maybe 60 dollars with a stand, shockmount, and pop-filter, back then. Still works like a charm and won't replace it until it's done doing it's job.
