Brief description of idea:
Add the Vauxhall Astra as a patrol division car as a replacement to the crown vic, or maybe as a VIP car for non ranked officers?
The patrol division of the PLPD are primarily focused on operating in urban and suburban areas of the map where there are dense populations of people in order to maintain law and order. Primarily a patrol division officer would also typically enforce the law on foot, meaning vehicle performance isn’t necessarily a constant need. However, for pursuits and a fast response time, the officers do require a fast car. The Vauxhall Astra is a very common police car in the UK For this purpose as it is sleek and streamlined and can handle high speeds without being impossible to control.
What benefits would this idea have for the department:
A useful car that could potentially replace the ford Crown Victoria.
it could probably drive on most parts of the map without getting stuck or losing control
Its compact but not a midget car so it could keep track and follow some of the smaller, more agile cars
What potential negatives could this have for the department:
