Now it's war!

A good thing about this is that sweden will make military service compulsory which is a good thing, atleast i think so

And you expect the people here to be able to give you an educated and well argumented story about this? In fact, look at the post above yours, which I dare to bet the author has not a single bit of actual proof to back up their claims.
Did i ask for an educated argument? no, i asked what people THINK!

I don't know what the problem is, the gas attack has supposedly been carried out by Assad (US has proof which is why I said supposedly, I haven't seen the proof yet) in which the UK, US and France carried out a joint operation to destroy the chemical factory used to produce these weapons. People are just losing their shit because Russia is allied with Assad and that's it, Russia is not dumb and they won't react by nuking the US.

No declaration of war on either side was given, targeted strikes are different, just like in Libya (One of the worst mistakes the coalition would make aside from the shitshow that was Iraq)
The prospect of increased tensions are a real thing as Russian troops are deployed on the ground in Syria, and if a coalition missile were to blast a few of them, consequences would be dire, but not world-war triggering. Just as it would have been when the U.S bombed the Syrian airfield where numerous Russian personnel were housed.
Despite Assad being worthless human garbage (welcome to the Middle-East, where mostly every national leader is one of such persons), deposing him would just allow for an even greater power vacuum in the region and would largely undermine the effort of the West to prevent the growth of militant Islamic groups
Considering the trigger for these events were the gas attacks, and understandably the civilized world was outraged considering the use of such weapons have for very good reason been outlawed by international law (just look at what mustard gas did during WWI), the Western response is too heavy-handed and a shithole such as Syria is not worth such risks

No USA made that Gas attack
That is what i THINK aswell. :)

If you are clicking on this thread from the forum overview or the shoutbox, and are unfortunate enough to have read up to this point, do NOT go back a page, it's not worth your time. Go do something productive, or not and read the rest for a chuckle.

All there is above this point is kids shoving forward their conspiracy theories and some actual thinking adults telling them why they're wrong.

You have been warned, studies show that extended exposure to bullshit may result in brain cell loss.

There has been active military strikes against the Assad regime by NATO Forces for the past few years. Just because there was a joint strike doesn’t mean ground forces are being sent to the country. Please don’t misinform members of the community.

you're basing the US on this "gas attack" because they "love war"? this is the next generation right

Everybody with a fucking right mind, knows that USA loves war and they are some dumbfucks trying to get war on them. Ofc it's USA
Are you that dumb? Seriously?

Sorry but honestly, that's the mose ridiculous comment I've ever read, I mean sure enough the US is aggressive in some scenarios but here they've done every little thing right in my opinion, what really started this was Syria, not the US at all.

I never said it was USA who started it, I said it was USA who fired the gas bombs, it's really 2 different things. Way Way Way different things.

I dunno this kind of speaks out to me, you don't know anything about this conflict at all nor do you know anything about the US and how they work in situations like this. Firstly I cannot find any information that the US "Fired" gas bombs, where is that said and how do you know this? Secondly; The US don't want war lol

The US want war, stop playing stupid Daymon, the US loves war they say they don't but every people with a tiny bit of Common Sense(Like 2% of perp has that) would know that USA is a fucking powerhungry country who wants to own everything and would love war just to get it, and also show off how powerfull they are.

No, you quite clearly don't understand how this works... Syria used what is believed to be chemical weapons, the US, UK and France responded on this, they warned Russia ahead of it saying that it was going to happen, they then went in and hit the targets.

You live in Scandinavia, the country that who wants to own everything and wants to show off how powerful they are all the time is Russia, you know this because your country has Russian jets flying close to your border, if I was in your boots I'd be more concerned over Russia than the US lol
