Hopefully, within a few days, we'll be releasing ParalakeNews.
To start with, the site will only be available from a browser, though at a later date we should hopefully be adding it to the newspaper in-game.
This, in my opinion, has been done wrong a ton of times. If you look back through old attempts at paralake news, you see the top articles being "city funds at all time high" or other articles no one wishes to read.
Journalists will be expected to write about relevant topics, that arent specific to one time frame such as tax, or individual gunfights. Topics we'd like to cover a bit more are stuff like the PLPD in terms of promotions and "internal politics", hopefully getting exclusive interviews regarding noteworthy events, such as the recent PLPD event. We'd also like to cover the staff team, organisations and more.
Journalists will be paid 50K per articles, and if your article is featured at the top of the site, youll be paid 75k for that article instead. Current plans are for SA to cover this cost, though, if not, I'll just about be able to cover it.
