(RESULTS) Chiefs of Department Awards 2021
Dear colleagues,
On Monday 24th January 2022 the nominating phase of the Chiefs of Department Awards 2021 opened to the wider community, with the voting phase opening on Thursday 3rd February 2022. Voting closed last night after receiving a great level of participation and after a process of verification, the results have now been collated. There were 7 categories to be won, with Colleague of the Year 2021 and Supervisor of the Year 2021 attracting a $150,000 award - the rest carrying a $100,000 award. All categories come with an exclusive forum signature as well as a PLPD.online profile award, which will be implemented in the next week or so.
Without further ado, here are our winners:
“John is never one to shy away from a situation and whenever he takes a 911 call it always sounds like he has a smile on his face. He is always a huge source of inspiration when dealing with Probationary Officers, prank calls, hostage situations. He is always consistently exceeding expectations and deserves to be recognised."
