RTX 3070 and RTX 2070

I was looking at cards im going to buy, i had my mind set on an RTX 2070 for a while until i have seen that an RTX 3070 is nearly the same price as the 2070?

Is there any difference?

Any cons of the 3070 on why it is cheap?

Which one should i get

Please help if you know about cards, price has me confused

3070 is quite a bit better, based on a different architecture and it's much newer but impossible to buy right now. People are putting them on eBay for like £200-£300 more than MSRP so I would wait until more stock becomes available.

Dont buy a 20 series card except if you find it dirt cheap. It isn't worth it regarding the 30 series are way better and at the same price as their previous gen counterparts.
30 cards are way too overpriced atm tho, wouldn't recommend paying 50% more of the original price.

Everything is out of stock and being scalped for stupid money. I would wait a few months before upgrading for the supply to calm down.
