Suggestion Topic: 2.5 Excessive Negativity
Suggestion Description: problem - officers think that gunpoint and fearrp doesnt apply to them. they also gunpoint you over whatever crime possible even if its stealing a fucking burger from freddys. they will gunpoint you removing any roleplay at all.

solution - add aggrevating factors to what force officers can use. for example if you comit a non violent crime like steal a vehicle, they should not be able to gunpoint you so that you are actually able to roleplay and attempt to run away. If the follower does not follow this then they would be risking a warn or ban. Theres videos on youtube over cops that are scared and then gunpoint someone over the most minor shit like that, and its like that on perp.

Why should this be added?:
- it completely removes any roleplay, and any possibility of escaping the police. If you are not 10 toes, you can not fight back otherwise you risk being banned for 2.5. and if you do fight back, you risk being banned for 3.4, even if its like fucking tax evasion or something.

What negatives could this have?:
- none that i could think off.

i understand, but pd cant fix the issue, like ive explained on my other post. its deeper than just creating an ia. its ruining the entire game, not just the roleplay. its that bad to the point where if you arent 10 toes, you cant do anything to escape them

If an officer is breaking gunpoint, just like any other player, you can report them for 3.4

As @Goonsberg has stated, this is a use of force violation if the officer is threatening to shoot you over a minor/non-violent crime.

if you comit a non violent crime like steal a vehicle, they should not be able to gunpoint you so that you are actually able to roleplay and attempt to run away.

Criminals can use a car as a weapon and try to run officers over, that is why it is sensible for officers to gunpoint you out of the car since you can be an active threat.

What else are they going to do? Threaten to taser you?

You can argue that they can attempt to ram you out of the car but that is extremely unlikely to happen and again, the person who is stealing the car can just drive off and run people over.

If the follower does not follow this then they would be risking a warn or ban.

Just like every other 3.4/2.5 violation. If you don't comply under gunpoint, you will get punished. The reason these rules exist is to keep roleplay both realistic and fair.
