S&box releasing the 28th of April

In less than two days the 'Spritiual succesor to Garry's Mod' will be releasing. What i find incredibly intereseting is that they added a financial motive to develop games for it which apparently is funded by cosmetics. Additionaly, you can publish your games directly to steam later on without engine fees. Do you guys think there will be a mass merge from Garry's Mod to S&Box? I personally think it'll take a few years but similar to how popular gamemodes like DarkRP and it's subsidiaries replaced gamemodes like half life two RP, TTT and Flood, S&Box will slowly eat Garry's Mod's playerbase. Continuing to develop for garry's mod does start to feel like pulling a dead horse now.

One thing I'm sure of: Tim Sweeney is shivering the fuck out of his timbs. Unreal engine is fumbling for new users and this is NOT going to help. Oh and developing for it is possible without taking lots of prozac.
