Shop Properties

Hello,

It's no secret that especially at peak times, the map could do with some more shops. I know that this is going to be addressed in future versions of Paralake but I also kinda wanted to game this out.

I like the bazaar, and it's a good idea to have, but I also think that better variety could be helpful too. The city shop is pretty nice as a change of pace, and I think rather than just adding more bazaar shops, it might be nice to diversify more, and add a couple more around the city.

Currently there really isn't much need to travel, which on one hand is good, on the other it makes the map feel a bit more dead. From the couple days on Evo it made me really appreciate how much having shops dotted around the city actually changed the vibe of the place, and encouraged people to travel around.

I meant to add a poll to this, but I accidentally posted it before I did that, so that's nice.

V5 had more shops in the form of the Business Shops but they were very under used due to the proximity to the Bazaar. The same goes for V6's Business Shop. I really like City Shop, as its right in the middle of the city, meaning people will go there more, and the two storey design is good too for separating the shop floor and workbenches.

Honestly the business shop being where it is has always baffled me. I played for two weeks when I came back and didn't even realize that was there until I was noclipping around in single player. I say it a lot but the building next to puffer mart across from the PD looks like it'd work pretty well for two city shops, and spreading them around a bit in areas that do have traffic could be good.

The business shops weren't just an issue because of bazaar, they also had a hedge that nearly completely blocked view of them from the street, so people had to actively choose to look and see if anything was there. Just being clearly visible from a high traffic area is a huge advantage alone.

i'd rly love more properties that you cant grow in / raid full stop. i will never stop asking for roxie's diner once again... sure it was under utilised but when someone did do something in it i found that a majority of people who came to refill their car at forest gas came in to check it out. had a lot of fun possibilities selling bombs in the bathroom too

I really really really would like a couple apartments above market St that can't be used to grow if anyone wants to set up an RP apartment

honestly i do like the idea of more shops around the map like city shop! whenever i go to bazaar and dont find anything i need, i go to city shop. i know my driving skills suck but i wouldn’t mind driving around looking for guns or medical supplies. I would lowkey love to see one near the rest stop, that could be very cool to see.
