Hey! Its hard to just give tips out of nowhere since its a bit more than just drawing something and adding it.

Carrot made a very awesome post highlighting everything you should know and it also includes a video tutorial made by sneaky!

If you carefully look through this thread you should be able to find answers to most if not all of your questions

oh, mixed. I was thinking like maybe a gold ak beacause asimov was to hard

so you need a gold texture, just google gold and choose which one you want.

you then put that to the same size as the vtf of whatever skin and follow carrots guide

you can play around with the original skin and the gold template to keep some of the gun looking 'normal'

It takes time to learn how to do it, but all you need is photo editing software and you can make anything.
