Sorry to make :beef: but it looks like something that needs to be addressed. If you're possibly going to be triggered by beef please do not look below the beef warning, just skip past and look at the other side.

Just wanted to ask why the Administration Section is being neglected, something I wasn't really concerned about but recently it seems Action Requests, Ban Appeals and Warning Disputes are being left for way too long. Are staff still doing the weekly cycles for their action requests, if so, what's the :beef: there are some action requests made from the beginning of April. The Ban Appeals category, I really do not mind about ban apologies, that's up to the staff member, but disputes really need to be handled quicker, it's pretty bad letting someone's ban expire whilst they have an active ban dispute, they whole point of a ban dispute is that someone does not agree with their ban and feel it's unjust, so that should be an extremely quick process to determine whether it's just. Lastly are Warning Disputes, although there are hardly any, still there not being addressed.

Sorry for the beef, shoutout to all of yo staff that sweat reports in-game and handle their stuff on time but this is also another vital part that needs doing. Maybe I'm just an idiot and there is absolutely no issue whatsoever. Opinions anyone?

Kinda something I find important. Imo ARs and BAs shouldn't even be shown the the public unless involved, but that's another idea.

Gotta agree here, I took 2 minutes to have a look around and found appeals going back to October 2015.

Disputes especially are a problem, players who believe that their bans are unjust, then having their disputes left for weeks (Or longer) is really an issue. If they are accepted this late it just means the player served the time but did nothing wrong, I think something needs to be done about this also.

We've got multiple posts about this by myself, @John Daymon and @MrLewis in the staff section however nothing seems to be getting done about it, we've all done a few other peoples however; we get complained at by the staff members claiming we're doing their reports.

It seems to be a lose-lose situation here.
Sorry to anyone that remains affected due to a delay of their Ban Appeal or Action Request

I've been posting reminders since December 8th 2015 for all the staff in the restricted staff section, see below:

(etc)

They have proven to help out a fair bit but the administration section is still being neglected a bit.

Okey someone have to say it. The staffteam is corrupt and 90% are biased.

What if you have a test before you get staff, like an autism test to make sure you gonna make good decisions?

Too many complains, appeals and disputes are open and they are lazy as fuck. Demote all of them or get some new staffmembers who will ban people for the people!

Free the people of Paralake!

I'm available to handle all remaining undealt reports for a small fee. Someone has to do something here, and the staff team isn't.

Regards, Dr. Spencer Reid, SSA and investigator of the FBI, moisturiser of panties and profile specialist, soon to be senior adminge.

How I feel most people come to the conclusion that they think the staff team is either corrupt or biased :booty:

@Johnsontucker

jk but for the past few weeks the administration section has eaten some dank :beef: and collected it up to a pile.

At the moment I am trying to sweat action requests as I haven't noticed that it's my week as I was sure that my week was going to be in the next month (May) in 2 weeks, sorry :trande:

I know exactly how you feel Jordan, I have actually tried getting hold of senior staff for ages (so it isn't just the "moderators") admins all the way up to Bolli.

no one ever answers so in my opinion I feel that they are getting "bored" of their positions

In the words of Alex, "Bolli is lazy and doesn't do anything except moan at others in the staff team" and in the words of Luke "you should relinquish yourself from your position".

Vote Tom Hill for enforcer 2016.

Of course a few things are going to be left out. In reality, lots of staff members have different approaches to things; me being quite slow and taking my time. It's not mandatory for them to be at it super quick and every day. Perhaps they have more important things to do such as exams, GCSEs and daily important stuff that makes perp fly over their heads. It most likely wouldn't be their main priority to someone being banned. It's completely up to them to say how long they want to spend their time on dealing with people who want to be unbanned/unwarned.
There's no rules against not handling action requests quickly and if the staff member thinks that that person has broken the rules then so be it. It's not other peoples rights to say "oh you're being so slooowww with my dispute!!1!". In the most likely case, that member of staff would probably avoid yours with those comments.

It's easy to forget that some people have a lot of other things to do than dealing with disputes or whatever.

(Phone I dare you to warn me cuz i am on phone)

We need more Seniors like 2 - 3 seniors are good. #Alex4Senior #Jordan4Senior

Staff are volunteers of course... but they're still accountable and have made a commitment.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. @Bolli out and @Tom Hill in.

Also the newer staff members are complete shite. Just an opinion.

To be honest, I believe it's a case of too many staff members at the moment, if that makes sense. Fine, i'll explain.

We currently have 24 staff members. (Not counting Jordan and Enforcers) I am not really sure how answering ARs and other things and who answers them works in the staff team, but I believe this is an issue because a lot of the staff members aren't answering ARs and such when it's their week. This in turn delays said ARs and other administrative threads, making other staf members have to step in and deal with it themselves.

we get complained at by the staff members claiming we're doing their reports.

This just shouldn't be happening. If a staff member has done an AR or something like that for you purely for the fact that it has been left up for a while, that's your own fault. Don't start bringing in the :beef: when someone does your duty because you're incapable of doing it swiftly when it is your turn.

What i'm going towards here is for a select number of staff to be left in charge with things such as ARs and Ban Disputes, as it'll keep the staff members that are failing to answer them out of the section, thus removing delays on responses. I'm not saying we have too many staff in general, hell no, a well-staffed server is great! What i'm saying is, I've seen some staff members answering these threads a lot more than others, and that kinda' tells me they're...how do you say...better at making a decision? Yeah, seems about right.

Anyways, that's my writing orgy done, time to see if I get a load of hate.

The problem with this is, the system is designed to minimize any bias that staff members may have by just denying any action requests against their friends.

Hopefully, this will be sorted soon as some staff members are pulling their weight and putting more effort than a group of the team.

This will be sorted, also this happened last year along with the year before, it's just exams season.

One of the main reasons are obviously some staff members being inactive and some also not being very "active" on reading wether or not it's their week for action requests. For example I've not dealt with a warning dispute or two as I've been inactive and waiting for response on some. But I agree, we as a staff team have to become much better at this.
