Original Version of 2.2 Voice Chat:

2.2 Voice Chat
The in-game voice chat may not be used for anything other than to allow for verbal conversation; where voice chat is of unacceptably low quality, the offending player should immediately cease its use. Voice chat may only be used for OOC communication if it does not affect any roleplay situations or is used within administrative situations.

Added: Staff members may permit individual players the temporary use of voice chat for other purposes than verbal communication upon request if provided gameplay mechanics which could be used instead of voice chat are not appropriate (due to low sound distance etc.) or functioning. Permission may primarily be given for roleplay purposes.

Why do you believe this rule should be Added/Edited:
Voice chat is a wonderful instrument of communication, but also for various other uses such as display of marching music.
If players could be allowed to use voice chat for different purposes (for a given amount of time), a lot more roleplay opportunities would be given to the entire community.

I agree with this, there are quite a few opportunities where the display of such music through the voice chat system can benefit roleplay. Currently the only way of doing this is to walk around with a TV, which used to be fine until the rules around TVs changed
