Tango 1 RTU: Successful Police Checkpoint

Today myself, @Maia & @JuanBonita setup a policing checkpoint in which we ensured that drivers of these vehicles were safe to drive them, registered to the vehicle, had to no outstanding warrants and were fit to drive, During this checkpoint in this specific location, we arrested a total of 6 suspects during this checkpoint for the crimes that they had committed and were warranted for, We also managed to trap two warranted suspects for robbing the bank inside of the checkpoint, resulting in their arrest, Overall this was an highly effective operational checkpoint led by us 3, I will post some media down below.





We then ran another checkpoint at the Business Bazaar roundabout location, This was setup as there's multiple directions in which vehicles could come from and was setup in a way that the flow of traffic would be consistent with the amount of vehicles that were flowing through, During this specific location, We had 4 officers manning it, @Maia sitting actively checking the speeds of the vehicles that were approaching, Myself, @Lau chong & @JuanBonita checking the vehicles for any warrants, matching vehicles to owners and all of the rest, Multiple individuals were fined for 12.2 Speeding due to their speeds of over 40 MPH in a 40 MPH zone.

LMAO, I hope so, the whole idea seems fun and adds to Crim/PD roleplay immensely imo, especially when major firearm incidents have occured and suspects are still on the loose, can help contain these criminals in certain districts and would require them to use less conventional methods to escape

It was very cool indeed, The procedure taking for this would be that if they were driving down the ramp towards the checkpoint, reversing back up the ramp would cause more damage than good and also would be breaking the law, resulting in their arrest, during the checkpoint we had nobody reverse back up the ramp which was quite good. Like Lau said, this will be more of a common thing however nothing has been released publicly yet which Wescott will touch on soon I'd assume.

If anyone tried fleeing the checkpoint and didn't listen to our commands and went straight through, We'd match the description of the driver with the plate of the vehicle using our speed camera and set warrants for 6.9.

i believe this kind of checkpoint should be more common and RTU officers should do it on a daily baisis

Surprisingly quite a few, a lot of people who consistently returning and coming back to the checkpoint as I assume they haven't seen one for a long while, but if I had to give a range and guess how many vehicles came through, I'd say between 20-30. As for vehicles driving past and ignoring the checkpoint, There was only one.
