I liked the new peaky blinders movie, i thought it was quite good with the emotional depth but felt it lacked plot, Don’t know how to feel about the new series and Duke Shelby being recasted again

From what I've seen of it having not seen the whole thing, it just doesn't have the same pacing as the series. Very rushed, which affects the quality of the acting in a few scenes too. I'll have to give it an entire watch though

did have alot of potential to be something more and bigger tbf
they changed the characters and the way they act too much. Some of the stuff they did in the movie they would've never done in the series.
If the movie had nothing to do with the series and the characters we already knew. Then it would be better

The whole point of the movie was to shift the series into the views of Tommy Shelby's children, yet we only saw 1 of them
