Which is why I always insist that people use /advert and announce road closures regardless of location.

1. Safety for all parties involved
2. Public awareness
3. Cost of repair
4. Unnecessary risk

The list goes on. Basically anytime police close off a road, partially block a road, or find a road blocked, it should be made known to the public as to prevent accidents such as the one shown. This includes but not limited to...

1. Road blocks
2. Property raids
3. Accidents
4. Disabled vehicles

Also one thing I tend to notice is people trying to worm their way through road blockages instead of waiting until someone helps direct them, because police may not always want traffic to go through or it leads to them going into oncoming traffic lanes.

Anyways, just some of my thoughts on such a situation.

It was quite ironic, but also serves as a good lesson as to why you should always use caution and why closing off a busy road such as that should be done with the utmost care.
