What happened to the Germans?

Hello everyone,

I was recently wondering what happened to all the germans on Perpheads. Back when I played on Perp the first time from late 2014 to about 2016/2017 there was a ton of germans active on the Server. At times almost the whole PD would communicate in german when on callouts. Names like Palono Harrisson or Cole Rogerson [at least that is how I remember their names] where synonymous with german PERP. Nowadays the germans either hide well enough by not having an attrocious accent, I just haven't found much yet or there is just less germans, so my question is what happened?

@Palono still appears to be vaguely around but probably doesn't play the server, I'm sure you can find out why with a DM

German Mafia has taken big breaks but comes back once in a blue moon to set up big gun shops thanks to @Palono's own initiative. Some people of the Skinheadbande (my first org lol) also sometimes return to play.

Problem today however is how much the gamemode has changed. German Mafia to its root are people who love to talk out things and soak in actual mafia/organized crime roleplay which isnt currently always possible if you've seen the state of the Paralake Partnership thread. Venomine, Myrothas, LinkerNippel, Mannerwaffel, Palono, Cole (sorry if I forgot to list you <3) and everyone else who interacts holds a special place in my heart for making the server really enjoyable, especially those other orgs who actually also were in talks with the Germans.

Once they're on they most usually get raided themselves and die, getting a setback and losing motivation again to keep playing which is a bummer.

I may be a little late to the party here since I don't check the forum regularly, but reading this thread makes me really happy. PERP has been a big part of life for many years and the days when the German Mafia was still around were some of the best. @Palono and @Creepis were one of the first German people I met on PERP. We all need to meet up on PERP soon™ (no meta intended).

Pretty sure Palono came back for a short duration back in 2020 December, he made the german mafia, and then ended up making a big event with Poseidon at morons that showcased lots of guns and a small casino, where @Collier placed the big poker table. Pulled up to PD with a Mercedes 300 SEL convoy. Lots of fun during that time.

Yea that was a fun event. One of the best Mafia roleplays we did. I remember the germans taking care of the gun business while we did the gambling/lounge.

Also, if someone got screenshots of that Mercedes convoy please share .

Hey there from time to time I log in to the Server and run a small gun shop and that's always fun when some of the older players walk into my shop and recognize me after 2 seconds and just hang out in the shop. I stopped playing on the Server because I have a new job where I am the Head of 15 Chefs in a big Sports resort and then is not much time left to play. but if you look around the Business shops you find sometimes a small shop. The Gold old days of German Mafia are over but if you are interested in the Org and maybe want to recreate it here is my organization doc. All in German

Well the immortal brotherhood hopes to embody what the German mafia was, (except not entirely German) and through the help of palono we hope to reach that goal, hard core roleplay, where your actions have weight and you what you say matters, all are welcome if you're willing to embody that of which we stand for.
