there's a job here where you're basically IT SWAT, so you raid houses and datacenters and nick people's child porn servers, pays good and its a job that matters
i really want a job where i can actually feel myself useful to society tbh

Currently studying for aeronautical engineering! Love airplanes and it pays well so..
I wanted to be an astronaut when i was a kid and then shifted onto something more realistic, doing IT. First job was IT at an hospital, managing desktop hardware. My 2nd job was kinda the same thing but for an insurance company, the guy i had to work with was an absolute dick so i was gone after a year. 3rd job at a bolt company i was sorta head of helpdesk but not for users, it was for relationship with other plants in different country's. I was also hired there to support the main IT guy because i had experience with linux and mainly centos (RHEL). Worked for about 4 years there then i quit because my hentai porn empire was exceeding the pay of my job there by like 4x

I'm currently doing IT at a National Laboratory, working on the service desk which basically means fixing things for people and doing things for people. Ie, "help xyz doesn't work also, can you order me abc". I'm currently also in charge of my own project of trialing, buying and then replacing about 50 current desktop printers inside of certain offices that print certificates and such which is quite interesting. Alongside all of this, I am studying towards a technical networking qualification (CCENT/CCNA) with hopes to become a part of the Infrastructure team as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in networking once my contract with them expires.
