The state of the server is getting worse

The server is in a way better position now RP wise compared to how it was 3+ years ago. Raids and crim got nerfed the fuck out of (Movement ect) and especially with the new map I feel its harder to raid than ever

You clearly were not around or havent heard of when Olsen used to terrorise the server, new player or not with back2back raids and bank raids. Or even after Olsen @Jack Bruhross G3A3'ing everyone and their sister constantly with ASDA. Most people wouldnt catch a break

With v6, bank raids are defo harder to do, raiding is harder due to the map layout, and everything seems so open or to compact unless you push inside before cops/flankers turn up. If cops do not win 80% of raids, there is clearly something wrong, even if someone is holding it with an AS50. Suburbs feels like the easiest raids on this map

As for the passive RP situation, I see more passive RP Now than I did years ago, admittedly a lot of the old passive RP was in bazzar which is defiantly not a hit this time, but as Fredy said it is being changed in v6.1.

All these "Crafting orgs" but are charging 22k for a mac 11??? Most of the bazzar shops are here to mug off new players so I rarely ever step foot in bazzar now adays as its pointless. So you cant partially blame them sorta people for killing bazzar off
Oh how I miss returning to an ongoing raid after waiting out NLR

I semi get where this thread is coming from and I can see that you aren't alone with these feelings, but I think some of the issues being brought up have deeper context behind them that's worth considering.

A lot of organisations are currently focused on leaderboard XP, which naturally pushes them toward doing more illegal jobs. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just the system that is at play, but it does lead to more raids and less organic interactions, especially during off-peak hours. That being said, it's still up to all the players to diversify their roleplay instead of falling into the same repetitive loops. For the PD, I agree that it needs to be stricter in aspects when it comes to duties and overall standards. Officers who aren't pulling their weight should face appropriate more severe consequences and more accountability would help shift the balance back towards quality roleplay rather than shootouts.

People are also mentioning Bazaar, and that's fair. There were major complaints about it's size and layout which Fredy has acknowledged, and a rework already being implemented. While it may not be perfect yet, Peeps is continuing to ensure it's perfect and hopefully make it more compact. On the topic of roleplay, there really shouldn't be incentives just to get people to engage with each other, Active roleplay is basic expectation of being apart of this community, it's not something that should be rewarded constantly.

Regarding V5 and V6, whilst I understand that some players miss aspects of V5, the reality is that it was becoming repetitive and stale for a lot of players, V6 was the necessary step forward and a breath of fresh air, with time and continued feedback, things can keep improving.
Tbf its rather people refuse to actually rp this crim in the first place and would rather zerg and claim easy wins what's unfun

I'm a Patrol trainer and I get paid but I don't touch this server at all unless I have to. I only do taser apps and that's about it. I'm not gonna go into detail on why I don't play on here is because my post on this thread will be taking down because I hurt someone's feelings with the truth
Please just resign at this point.

At this point you're just gatekeeping a trainer spot.

Dont forget that if you get a ban, that the ban can be extended based on something that happened 1-2 months ago if they so please.
Eh, it depends on severity, generally you wouldnt and shouldnt be banned for something more than I think 21 days ago? So unless its part of an investigation etc that was done, this usually never happens.

I will attempt (and likely fail) to summarise all of my opinions on the matter:

  • We are too lenient on players asking for refunds, espeically when a car gets stolen and tiered. If you car gets stolen, you should put some effort in to trying to retrieve it or expect it to be ruined. Realistically, the person who stole it has no meaningful attatchment to your vehicle and would not care if it was damage or not. (past perhaps the preservation of their own life.) All of the above is easily remedied by buying a car security upgrade.
  • We have started to cater too much to players in shootouts, allowing them to shoot anyone who even happens to wander in, even new players who may not fully understand what is happening. What kind of first impression does that give off?
  • Outside of friend groups, people are generally far too hostile to each other.
  • People don't care for the details of roleplay, especially in police investigations. If something is taking too long, they get mad and start to threaten IAs like petulent children (some of them are.)
  • A lot of people don't understand (or care about) /me and /desc and the power they have.
  • People seem to expect a reward or recognition for roleplaying and passiveRP, when the reward should be the fun you have, and the memories you enjoy.
  • Melee weapons no longer being allowed in raids is cringe and no one will ever convince me otherwise (this one is personal)
  • Players are far too quick to jump to telling other players what they can/can't do, or reporting activity that breaks their percieved understanding of the rules, even if that activity is done for a beneficial RP reason, or has reasonable justification.
  • Old bazaar was infinitely better. It may have been crowded, and chaotic, but this would be the case in any area that encouraged a high density of people. I have personally seen some ideas about the new design that I believe will help immensely in rectifying this.

That aint true, i got banned for a message i sent in org chat, i sent that message the 1'st of july and got banned for it on the 27'th july, keep in mind, i hadnt played for 10 days when getting banned.

yeah man i love having to pay 30k each time my car is stolen and driven down the wrong side of the highway

is enforcer just sucking your IQ away?

Since the start of 2025, 7 of your posts have been deleted. 5 of these posts were on profiles, most of which were deleted by yourself or whoever's profile it was. The other 2 were shitposts on random suggestions...

Given everytime my car gets stolen it comes back tiered , yeah I dont wanna be spending like 30-50k logging in because someone rams it clean into a wall on purpose.

We have started to cater too much to players in shootouts, allowing them to shoot anyone who even happens to wander in, even new players who may not fully understand what is happening. What kind of first impression does that give off?
It doesn't matter what sort of impression it's a SHOOTOUT, in NO RP server can you just wander like fucking nothing, sure in a lot of FiveM servers you can go around shootouts like it's nothing, but you will often get shot in that, the fact that you're trying to defend people entering a shootout is ridicouless, especially when there's only 2-3 cops left to deal with several shooters and stuff you can't always drag them away or cuff them in put them in a car safely, so they just end up blocking cops from shooting or doing their duties, or they will make raiders be afraid that they might pull a gun and shoot you, ESPECIALLY NEW PLAYERS, because most new players is actually fucking stupid and just shoot you cause they want to, this is a terrible terrible take.
Outside of friend groups, people are generally far too hostile to each other.
I'm more hostile to my friends than outside groups, including calling them actual slurs, RDM'ing them, and doing a bunch of shit, I am however pretty toxic at times at people but it's more OOC than roleplay lmao.
A lot of people don't understand (or care about) /me and /desc and the power they have.
This is an actual problem, even for more experienced players have a really really tough time understanding or caring to be using and following /me's and /desc's
People seem to expect a reward or recognition for roleplaying and passiveRP, when the reward should be the fun you have, and the memories you enjoy.
Again I do agree with this, most people don't do passive roleplay cause there's no actual benefit of reward to it, and somebody pointed out you often have to sacrifice some money to do passiverp whether it's becuase it gets you jailed and fined or just because you need to buy smt etc, and this is sad to see people don't follow by this.
Melee weapons no longer being allowed in raids is cringe and no one will ever convince me otherwise (this one is personal)
I don't care too much about this one, I've kinda always thought melee weapons towards guns was incredibly dumb, but at the same time if you're all the way in the back and you're behind a bunch of people with guns and stuff that there should be more leniency but tbh, this don't really matter much to me.
Players are far too quick to jump to telling other players what they can/can't do, or reporting activity that breaks their percieved understanding of the rules, even if that activity is done for a beneficial RP reason, or has reasonable justification.
Like what? Sometimes people are pretty quick, but in most cases those rulebreaks don't beenfit rp either.
Old bazaar was infinitely better. It may have been crowded, and chaotic, but this would be the case in any area that encouraged a high density of people. I have personally seen some ideas about the new design that I believe will help immensely in rectifying this.
No, just no. It was laggy, it was horrible, it was ugly compared to the ones we have now and it was incredibly small. I know a lot of people think the new bazaar is way way too big which is fair, personally I don't actually have any issue with it, I like how big it is and what not.

TLDRing this thread:

- Humongous amounts of Copium needed
- PVP skill issue
- Having KOS = I have to hitman kill this guy
- pAsSiVe RP needed (I'm antisocial and I can't have conversations or fun with people unless I'm raiding or killing a new player cop)
- Police bad
- exrofat

Realistically, when @Eistee von Aldi decided to start the FY races, a lot of people decided to try to stop it instead of letting people have fun racing. Perhaps player mentality is more of an issue.
