I know I'm gonna hate myself for posting this, and I usually don't really want to post this, but I will. Now I just wanna start out to say, no this post isn't about "Orgs" or "Scoreboard Leadership" and what other stuff, neither a specificity of other things, but it is about the server and RP. I've been chatting with a few people and I also understand certain other sides but let's dive a little deeper into that later off.
So WHAT THE HELL AM I TALKING ABOUT???
Today, has a great example as one of compulsiveness of having to always win, we had one of our occassional jailbreaks we all are familiar with particularily if we play PD, where the negotiations was going amazing, although there was SOME negatives and setbacks, the entire thing was mostly good and proper. The issue started arising when the situation was done, a promise was made that the suspect was to be given free passage and those who knows me, know I WANNA KEEP EVERY PROMISE AND DEAL I MAKE. Unfortunately despite the fact that it was said the suspect should be let go, the moment all suspects was inside their respective vehicles, certain cops started immediately opening fire instead of RP'ing and initiating a pursuit which would have been much more fun and productive.
You may say "WeLL ThAT's wHAt tfU iS FoR!!!!!!" Not really, we have bigger guns to handle bigger incidents, this doesn't mean we have to use them everytime. However unfortunately the compulsiveness to wanting to E-Sport and just win in general trumphed and despite my direct command as Lead it was disregarded, now this post isn't about this so it doesn't matter, but it does factor in that it trumphs everything else.
We see this a lot in people, not only PD the idea of RP just isn't something people wanna do, I have had so many hostage situations where even though the negotiations is going incredibly well on both sides, and it's looking bright, now the orgs immediately makes a 180 and decides they wanna shoot the cops because THEY HAVE TO WIN, the entire gear fear and having to be the best and always win is starting to get ridicouless. It counts into so many things but, I personally believe on both sides, hostage situations are indeed the worst. It makes it so much harder for us who actually would love to try and make RP out of it, and it would just make it much more funny for everybody, nobody is saying "Don't pull behind a house and shoot at cops after you have left the hostage location" if that's what you wanna do then go right at it, but for the love of god, don't leave EVERY SINGLE hostage situation with an immediate shootout.
Just to clarify further, I'm not stating you should never shoot in hostage situations, there are times it's more beneficial on both sides to do so, or just to have fun, but doing it every single time is just getting absolutely absurd and ridicouless, anyway thank y'all for reading.
I'm not gonna do a TL;DR cause I don't feel it will give enough context, so either read it or don't it's really just up to you, but I do appreciate it if you read it!
