Model Suggestion DMC-12 DeLorean additions

The problem with this suggestion is that perp uses TDM cars for models, and sometimes the devs create custom textures for them. They dont really want or probably maybe even cant edit the 3d model/appearence of the car.
I think it is technically possible due to ELS being attached to cars, however this probably will not be worth it to add.
Apart from that, no other cars have any modifications to their appearence apart from color and attached statues.

Could you please explain what TDM, ELS means? And If this were to be implemented then I'd model it.

TDM cars is a massive collection of GMOD modded cars, created by user "TDM". Perp uses theese cars exclusively, and this creates some limitations (i.e. there is no mod for Ford Explorer, hence porsche cayenne 2012 turbo S is a police car SUV).

ELS is emergency lighting system, such as flashing beacons on police, FD and EMS cars. Here, the beacons and lights are "attached" to the cars model via scripts.

So technically you could create a model that could be attached to the delorean, but i am not sure if it will be easy to script(i am not a modder, rather a theorist), as ELS,FD,SS,PLPD,RC cars are spawned from jobs, and you would spawn the delorean from your garage. However i think that the statues aka ornaments iirc work the same and they are just tiny models attached under the windshield.

That is how things work in ArmA3 when it comes to ELS on cars, and I just assume it works exactly the same here.

I think the delorean being repriced so at max upgrade it goes 88 would be fucking hilarious and should be done however.

The vehicle already exceeds 88 mph at 92mph top speed, limiting its top speed is not necessary.

Ah fair enough. I just want it limited for the funny 88.But then again speedometers shake +/- 5-10mph ingame at full speed so you wouldnt notice it. Maybe make one of the speedometer settings 88?

I feel that the real change should definitely be this.

Cruise control, and when you tick over 85, it limits to 88, then 90, as a small reference.

It'd still be a cool feature for the gull wing doors to alteast open as this would be the easiest part in my opinion due to it not needing modelling.

It sort of annoys me when you see players driving around in their flashy teslas with their smooth animated doors it makes it look like some cars have more effort in scripting?

If you can propose a way that doesn’t look like ass to have a bodykit for the DeLorean that makes it look like a replica of the back to the future car then I’m down. Whilst we’re at it, where’s the harm in an A Team GMC vandura, A mystery machine Volk camper and a herbie beetle?

Isnt the a-team gmc already possible with the spoiler? Just needs a custom skin with the red stripe which i think it has in vanilla tdm.

This requires modelling, as the model needs a change to allow the doors to move. Those doors, to my knowledge, does not have any animatable bones currently, and the doors aren't separate from the model either. The openable doors on certain cars was a feature that TDM included for certain cars as he got more proficient with vehicle porting. He completely fucked the BMW 340i, but both the Tesla and BMW 340i received the openable doors. On top of this, a few of the semi trucks also received this treatment.

Either way, not a necessary change.
