"players must take reasonable precautions when approaching intersection and adhere to traffic laws unless valid reason to do otherwise- failure to do so makes player liable for damages in reports."
Isn't that literally what the rule states? You can run red light, IF you have a viable reason for it.
However if the player can provide a reasonable justification for their actions they may be excused from punishment.

Periodically have an org member send a message in org chat: "I think we are about to get raided, these people threatened me before" (copy paste).
If a staff member inquires you further on why you ran the red light say (depending on path you took):
1. I thought we still based in slums but then I remembered... also no one called to TS so I gave it up.
2. I thought we still based in office but then I remembered... also no one called to TS so I gave it up.
3. I was going to suburbs storage to get a gun. But then I realised no one called to TS so I gave it up.
4. I was going to friends bazaar storage. But then I realised no one called to TS so i gave it up.

This will ensure you and your org mates are safe from 3.22 warnings or bans while freely running red light

Honestly it's just bad map design. Warning everyone who can't be fucking waiting twenty seconds at an empty intersection for a light to go green isn't going to fix the problem, nor will removing/reconstituting the rule. The intersection should be turned into a roundabout, cause then people would be forced to slow down, and the need for the rule would be gone.
This is honestly 100% correct, the lights take too fucking long to change it's like waiting for a real life red light and I don't get on gmod to stare at a red light.

I would rather not tier my car due too poor driving and ppl running across intersection like the ducks outta duck hunt, and bearing in mind half u fuckers are the ones that complain when you tier 2 your car from someone walking across the intersection pointless argument no need for it if its that hard too break a rule, just re-read the rules imo

Madman found the loophole

I always thought you could run a red, assuming there's no cops there and no traffic light camera... just like in real life. If you get a warning when there's no cops or camera then getting a warning from staff is BS. Wanting to get to where you're going faster is a valid reason.. has no one ever driven in real life?

No, only idiots run red lights in real life. Grow up and drive sensible

There's no one around, no one watching, no one coming. If you leave your city you'll learn that not all intersections even have lights and you have to use your brain to decide weather you can go or not.

Also, I grow drugs and regularly try to murder people in GMOD, AKA I am FAR less likely to adhere to a stupid red light then I am in real life.

The intersection is on a dual carriageway with cars flying through, yeah in real life I would do a few naughty over takes but what idiot would jump a red like that?

You don't actually do this do you?!

Yes but when I drive IRL I tend to lean more towards being a safe and decent person rather than putting people at risk for the chance of getting somewhere 2 minutes earlier

Definitely a van driver

Good point but this intersection does have lights, hence the rule in place on it

I understand warning when the population is like 70+, but under that you can safely assume half are AFK and if you look left and right away you go. Definitely against the law, but not worthy of the gods themselves coming down to smite thee.

I can't be the only one who's gotten a red light ticket before, nor the only one who's ran a red light before.(sometimes I don't even stop at stop signs!)
