Why were you banned/blacklisted?: 4.1, 2.5 - Shot a players car as an officer for no reason, then executed the driver in cuffs and dc'd once shot down by another officer.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I want to be able to have the opportunity to give a true apology for the rules that I have broken. I am sorry for the rules that I have broken on Perpheads. I usually play a police character on Perpheads and I really miss this now that I have been banned from the server and also presumably blacklisted from PD.
Whilst I cannot remember the exact vehicle, there was a vehicle that I was chasing over a period of many several minutes for hit and run. Unfortunately, in my fixation to find this person I mixed them up with a vehicle that looked the exact same with the same make and model. I realised my mistake when I had the driver in cuffs because they did not sound remotely similar to the original person who I had been trying to shoot their vehicle/tyres however I became frustrated because I recall them not letting me get a word in and shouting at me that I was falsely arresting them. With this anger, I shot the person in cuffs dead and then was shot down by another officer. It was then still with anger that I left the server as I was in a state where if I had to interact with a staff member I might not have been able to properly control myself.
Whilst that is certainly no excuse, I do apologise as even with the information above there is no justification for shooting someone who was innocent and posed no threat to me. In the future, if such an event arises I will make sure that instead of letting my emotions and anger get ontop of me I remove myself from said situation even if it means taking a break from the server and coming on the next day when I am feeling calm and loosen my approach to police and whilst taking it professionally try not to let it become a challenge to accept that sometimes a suspect gets away.
I am very sorry for my actions and this certainly will not happen again.
Additional Information: Personal note: It was my birthday yesterday and whilst I do not expect this at all to influence this apology it would almost be like a great present to be able to play on Perpheads again as it is a server that I thoroughly enjoyed when I was able to stay calm. I loved to issue citations for moving violations and would often run operations next to the bazar pedestrian crossing to catch vehicles running the red light and really miss this so would love to be able to play again.
