Punishment Type: Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @steelo
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Not Applicable

Your Steam Name: HyperKaizen
Your Roleplay Name: Kaizen Chan
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:804283249

Why were you banned/blacklisted?: 3.4 - The user failed to comply with an Officer's order whilst under direct gunpoint, instead choosing to drive off.

Why should this appeal be considered?: Not being funny i didnt realise that you couldnt drive off... i thought this only applied when you was on foot. I am very sorry and it wont happen again now that i know you cant drive off when under gunpoint. I was just the driver and i thought he was talking to my passenger as he was the one with the gun, my passenger said drive off so i did

Additional Information: Steelo turned around and said that i broke the rule i told him that i didnt know that this applied when you was in a car and that it wont happen again.
I want this ban lifted as i apologised to him and that i know that you cant drive off.

I told him that i did not know we could not drive off and he still issued a ban without being reasonable, i think the ban is excessive when i did not know about the rule, i thought it only apllied when you're on foot as you cant exactly escape at gunpoint where in a car in real life you actually could escape it... Considering this is based on real life RP this should not be a thing

Your ignorance to the rules is not a good enough excuse to break them, nor is it a good enough excuse to expect leniency. In the video provided, the Officer clearly attempts to give both of you orders for a prolonged period of time due to the passenger's gun, prompting you both to argue with him instead of complying. Eventually, you turn your engine on and drive away. Rule 3.4 prevents you from taking actions that put your life, or freedom from imprisonment at unnecessary risk. Given that you risked getting your car shot, being arrested or dying by failing to comply over what could easily have ended in a ticket means that you have unequivocally broken this rule.
