Can the police force handle the crime rate?

It is well known that Paralake City is the most dangerous city in the US. 98% of the population have more than one gun at home, even with strict gun laws. Many people feel unsafe, and have lost their trust in the police. Will the new Lieutenant battle the high crime rate and bring peace in our beloved city?

Lieutenant Vetter looking confident on his first day.

Our well-known reporter Brennon Hicks met the Lieutenant right after his first police meeting.
He asked him, what he plans to do against the high crime rate. His answers were fast, and often interrupted by loud radio chatter, "We made plans and tactics to stop bank robberies." He constantly had to leave for some seconds, and was very busy. But it didn't stop Hicks from asking the question every Lieutenant fears: "What do you think about the current situation?" Our new Lieutenant answered with confindence and honesty:"Our crime rate is way too high, and we have too many bank robberies!" We will see what the future will bring, but we are happy to have such a self-confident Lieteunant for once.

New Mayor in office! What does the population think?

We all voted for a new mayor today in hope to stop the govermental corruption and high taxes, but what does the populatio think about our newly elected mayor? Do they believe that he will change the city?

We met Martin C. on the street and asked him for his opinion about the new mayor.
Our reporter Brennon Hicks asked him what he thinks about the current situation. Mr. C. answers quietly:"I am not happy. Taxes are still too high." He then ran off into the distance. Maybe he couldn't handle to meet Brennon Hicks in person, who knows.

Afterwards a young person called Daniel I. walks up to us, and asks if he's allowed to say something about the current situation. Of course he was and said quite angrily:"These damn taxes are way too high, I can barely feed my children! This government is still corrupt as fuck!" We then asked him, if he thinks that the newly elected mayor is also corrupt like the last one, "Yes, of course!" he said loudly and left.

We then walked up to a Taxi Driver parking infront of the Police Department. His name is Malcoolm M. we also asked him what he thinks about the current situation. He swiftly answered:"Not too bad, it could be much worse! And it even was worse before, the crime rate is already going down.We also need these taxes, they help the police force!" Our reporter then asked him about the taxi business:"It's okay, I can life from it."

Brennon Hicks also had the honour to interview our newly elected mayor Marco Belinsky! We asked him why he's holding tight on his high tax policy. He then started a small speech:"This will be a new beginning for the city! I will change the whole system and also will lower the taxes after some while and give full paychecks to the public services. I am thinking about the future! Everyone will be safe!" Well, how ever he will pay the public service with low taxes. We will see.

Breaking News: Bank Robbery!

ZhVEdBP.png

Four armed gang members stormed into the XQ Bank today and told the bank manager to open the vault. The police force was notified and SWAT stormed the building, killing two gunmen and arresting two. We were able to get another interview with our new Lieutenant and have many brilliant pictures. First the pictures:

We then were allowed to interview the Lieutenant about what happened at the bank. "Many gunmen stormed the bank and went into the vault. The bank manager triggered the silent alert and notified us by doing so. We arrived within the first 30 seconds and hat a heavy firefight against the intruders. The SWAT shot two suspects, the two others gave up after running out of ammunation. We used the tactics we talked about in the meeting and it worked perfect. It's a huge strike against gang related crimes in the city." It looks like the new Lieutenant is going change what the last one did wrong. It looks like a bright crime free future for Paralake.

Driving license too easy to achieve?

iUmDWNl.png

Person called Fred at the crash site says:"Fuck her right in the pussy!"

A horrible crash happened today next to the Farm House. The driver of a Mitsubishi crashed into the fence and got severly injured. It's not the only accident of this kind. Is it too easy in Paralake to get a drivers license? The car crash victim charts sky-rocketed in never ending numbers and the police is unable to battle. Maybe we should change the current system of just answering 3 questions to obtain it.
