Description of the idea:
Add craftable signs. These will be small plaque style signs like you see in certain places, similar in size and shape to the no parking signs.
Due to the amount of signs I wish to suggest, maybe they could receive their own category in the crafting menu?
Signs should be craftable with the following materials:
1x piece of metal
4x wood nails
1x paint bucket
Example shape of the signs:
Depending on the signs, they will all be the same shape however some should be landscape and some should be portrait.
Examples of what the signs should say:
Information / public notice signs:
- No smoking
- Smoking area
- No trespassing
- No parking
- This property is alarmed
- Smile, you’re on CCTV
- No entry
- No valuables are stored inside this property
- Armed security operating
- Beware of the dog
- No obstruction
Business:
- Pawn shop
- Casino
- Bank transfers only
- Cash only
- Open
- Closed
- Shoplifters will be prosecuted
Could suggest more signs below.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- More customisability for business owners
- Police can buy them to put in places so they can peacefully enforce minor laws
What negatives could this have? (cons):
- Due to their size they could be used to fucking burger flip a car
- More content, not necessarily with models but with textures. The model could be reused for each sign and the writing could just be a texture.
- would take awhile to make all suggested (but all don’t have to be implemented).
