Brief description of idea: Disband the current form of the PLPD and reintroduce the previous default PLPD from pre-2016
What benefits would this idea have for the department:
- No overly complex policies
- Roleplay wouldn't be taken too seriously beyond the point of actual physical game limitation.
- Anyone can become a police officer or the lieutenant.
- Reintroduction of VIP paid SWAT (donation would have an extra purpose)
- Grasp on reality introduced, remembering that we're on a game is now shed with light.
What potential negatives could this have for the department:
- No stress relief on oppressing random people or fellow subordinates after a long day at school.
- No pointless or stupid PLPD IA complaint submission forms you'd be required to make a statement for.
- Minus one toxic sub-community.
- Mass redundancies in favour for a more accessible job role for everyone to play.
- PLPD.online would be defunct (I see this as a positive from my own experience)
Other additions:
- Revert changes to SWAT van.
- Allow some form of vetting via playtime or approval by staff members rather than the current PLPD system in place for newer players.
- Allow actual competent players to be recognised for their hardwork or roleplay via the community spotlight.
