Individually Based Answers:
Rank:
How long have you been at this rank?
Which divisions do you work in?
How much time do you spend on admin duties compared to in game activities?
How likely are you to recommend joining PLPD to a friend or new player?
- depends whos active and whos not as cop
- It is a good way to get into the community and to get money
- PLPD is mostly fun as long as you tackle it properly. It's challenging to a healthy degree and anyone wanting for something alike, is very welcome to join.
- There is a lot of opportunity to grow and keep things interesting but when trying to suggest any way to enhance rp any further than what provided everything gets shut down. Nice incentives to join other divisions however the divisions are tough to get into, Patrol is important but very limiting on equipment, and vehicles. Just becomes dry rp once in awhile.
- its awesome
- It depends on the person and what they like pd is not made for people who get angered quick.
- I rated my likelihood of recommending the PLPD as 7 out of 10 because the department is, overall, a very enjoyable and unique team to be part of. The PLPD offers engaging roleplay opportunities, varied scenarios, and a strong sense of identity that makes policing within PERPHeads feel rewarding and distinct compared to other factions. When functioning well, the department provides a fun, immersive, and cooperative experience that encourages teamwork and meaningful interaction with the wider server community. However, there are several factors that prevent this recommendation from being higher. At times, there is a noticeable lack of consistent communication and operational precision, which can lead to confusion or inefficiency during active situations. Additionally, the presence of small internal groups that do not actively train, mentor, or encourage improvement among officers can negatively impact overall cohesion and professional development. In some cases, mistakes made by officers are met with mockery rather than constructive feedback, which can discourage learning and reduce morale. In summary, while the PLPD has strong potential and delivers a unique and enjoyable experience, improvements in communication, training culture, and mutual respect among officers would significantly enhance its professionalism and make it easier to fully recommend to new or prospective players.
- Think it's quite hard to get going especially with OR's as no one really wants to do them
- I feel that the plpd online system is kinda out of the game, new player that tries to work as an officer finds it really difficult to navigate to the website, i feel like it should be implemented in the game, like the report system (F6) so that when there is like an IA we, as officers would get a notification of some sort that there was a response in the IA's.
- Many good people within the PLPD, besides the occasional "rogue officer".
- Been a PD main ever since I started working there.
- i love everything about the department, with the exception of a few policies/how those policies are enforced, I feel like too many new players or officers get demoted and discharged for pretty serious misconduct, even after they are apologetic, understand their mistake and attempt to fix their wrongdoing
- It's not fun.
- IA and CC are out to get officers who do nothing wrong
- To keep it short, PLPD is a completely unique PERP experience that should be at least tried by all long term players
- It's fun and it's good cash, especially if you're new
- if its there play style yes its a good way for cash and pvp but there are a lot of issues/politics when it come to progression
- Compared to other servers the detail and effort this servers police force is insane plus the command team actually are competent
- Owned and operated by a select few
- The PLPD helps you not only learn more about the gamemode, but it also helps you meet people and get to know them better. To me, it is a fun way to meet people and get more out of the gamemode at the same time.
- Constant unfairness
- I don't get paid enough, get in trouble over minor things too easily
- It is good fun but it can also be a lot of shitty situations with people moaning or getting shot everytime you respawn
- It's nice, but many things in it keep me from encouraging everyone to join. Only friends I know that are actually interested in its systems are going to get the recommendations.
- It’s very fun, and engaging. It isn’t a 10, because I feel it’s quite toxic.
- its a good way to meet new people and earn £
In the last seven days, I have received recognition or praise for doing good work.
- I gave callouts to eveything and helped where possible, got no recognition whatsoever. no one praised my work like ever
- I have gotten very good OR and i think that the other officers around me also higher ranking tell me that i did a doog job
- PSD wise, I feel like recognition from fellow colleagues is essentially a daily occurrence.
- Im told I'm doing a good job and should be corporal in no time but when it comes time I'm told no one in command knows me even though I don't get to see most of command cause im on late.
- Good observation report, otherwise i just get harassed by people i arrested.
- A single OR eventually
- Being as a regular officer for so long is difficult to get any response from higher ups, they see us almost as regular civilians, its hard to get OR's, or even rank up in PLPD.
- I praise myself for being too good at investigations.
- Traffic command are good at this, other command teams :/
- not really, probably because i have a fairly shitty reputation which i have attempted to fix. Unfortunately because of this, i dont really get any sort of positive feedback. I only hear over the radio or /gov "not andrew again". I have attempted to fix it, however command, higher management probably dont see it considering i have a different time zone and because they are most likely busy
- No praise or recognition given for my work, no comments on performance or feedback from supervisors.
- because the lack of motivation from higher ups to get on
- No OR's been asking but never available
- Never does happen
- I got Officer of the month.
- From beginning of plpd till now i haven’t been recognized, not for the work I put in and not for the time I put in
- high ranks not come with lower ranks
- I only got recognition during my time as TFTO, never really anywhere else
- Many officers tell each other how they do, sometimes even Observation Reports are dropped then.
- Not much recognition, higher ups don’t engage too much.
I have the materials such as guides, policies and procedures to do my job well.
- its all in the guides
- We do have them but i have to admit that for me at least its a bit hard to figure out but again that might just be me
- This is a plus however a couple things there has been different information on
- theres lots of info available
- One of the PLPD’s greatest strengths is the availability and quality of its resources. The information tab is extensive and well-organized, earning a 10/10 in my view. Guides, policies, and procedures are clearly documented, properly stored, and easy to navigate, which gives officers all the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively and confidently.
- We do get some guides on how to do the job, but it would be much better to have like sorting system to know what to learn first and whats the most important on the job, what would be useful and what would not be needed on duty
- Although slightly confusing to a newcomer, plenty of information regarding procedures and policies can be found.
- Some policies, such as TFU policies, are very hard to understand at first. They're not as black and white as I'd prefer.
- Not a lot of good material or guidelines for new sergeants - supervisor policy is lacking
- everything needed is within the informations tab.
- Some laws are not fully explained, for example shoving doesn't classify as 9.1 physical assault without clarification as to why
- cause there's a whole website I can use that has everything I need
- its all there except from the experienced help from higher pd
- Again the detail this server has with its police force is amazing
- They're always there and I consult them often.
- I get answer to my questions from those
- Handbooks that's about it
- yes all of it is in the hand book
- Some documents are difficult to navigate / to find what you need
- There are policies and guides on most things. I have issue with the TFU Handbook and reality not matching, aswell as the lack of a good guide on communication basics and theories for general officers.
- Every division has somewhat of a handbook / policies that are accessible to all
Help is available from supervisors or other members of the PLPD when I have a problem.
- depends whos on duty or not, u can still ask in /help tho
- It really depends on the person and what mood they are in sometimes they can be very helpful with ors or other questions and then there are other times where they are more often to decline an or and are a bit snappy
- on late so sometimes as a senior officer i am the highest rank.
- Most of the time they deny requests or just don't respond
- I strongly agree that help is available from supervisors and other members of the PLPD when problems arise. Supervisors and experienced officers are generally quick to identify the issue at hand and provide clear, effective assistance. Support is typically delivered in a calm and solution-focused manner, which helps resolve situations efficiently while avoiding unnecessary escalation or drama.
- Majority of the time yes
- The amount of actual supervisors or higher-ups on duty is really REALLY minimal, most of times 1 or even 0, the detained suspects require them, and when we, as just the most basic officers tell them there isnt one, they will always get mad and make an IA when the situation could have been solved with just few words from a supervisor
- In most cases yes although sometimes communication can be lacking from higher-ranking officers, presumably due to radios being muted.
- A lot of times the PD lacks an available Sergeant+ at earlier or later times of the day.
- Helpdesk tickets have been helpful at times
- 90% of the time, when someone needs help, including me as a sgt, people answer your questions and assist you.
- Hit or a miss. Never found myself stonewalled on anything admin-wise, but in-game, good luck getting any help from anyone.
- Typically its really difficult to get a supervisor when requested, there are a few SGT's + who do pickup all Supervisor calls but this is rare
- cause sometimes there isn't and sometimes there is
- when i need help i normally ask Lieutenant Wescott otherwise the rest of Pd is useless
- Due to alot of supervisors not wanting to do OR's as I am sure to them its not that fun
- Never any help(havent got time for low ranked officers)
- Often times, if I don't know the supervisor, they're likely to tell me to make an IA on the person instead of anyhow trying to deal with it.
- There almost always someone that can help you
- 50 50 on this one
- yes but but we need more supervisors
- "make an IA"
- I feel like many supervisors do not fill out their duties in that regard. I feel like they often need to be chased for basic issues & ignore requests for too long.
Are you proud to be a member of the PLPD?
- the ping sucks
- I am happy to be apart of the PLPD and i hope that i will get a high rank somtime
- I feel its elite to be apart of it and makes us a select group in the server due to white list and how officers are expected to uphold the badge,
- pistol cop gang
- Yes, I am proud to be a member of the PLPD. The department has a strong identity within the PERPHeads server and offers a structured and engaging experience for its officers. Being part of the PLPD provides clear responsibilities, organized procedures, and a consistent framework that supports professional law enforcement roleplay.
- Being basic officer, patrol officer, gives really minimal car selection, weaponry, and there isnt really any satisfaction working as one, even worse if you are working alone without a pal or buddy.
- My org boss shames me for being in the PLPD. #KatchNKushOnTopThough
- Absolutely, though some people don't help our bad reputation much.
- ive been in multiple police departments across multiple games. This is the best department ive ever been part of, great command teams and well coordinated. The only properly managed department ive ever seen. great job
- i wouldnt boast to my irl friends about it... sorry

- I come on to play a game and have fun, and instead I'm insulted and browbeaten by people who can't follow the rules to save their lives, and if I put a toe out of line I'm hung out to dry.
- The PLPD is a fun and well structured department however it most definitely has its flaws, ive had multiple frustrations within the department in the past.
- cause when I was younger, I wanted to be a police officer, and now I don't have that dream anymore, it's still fun to rp as one
- No the lack of professionalism and rp that goes on is off putting and lets not even start with the politics
- 100% Knowing that I made it to senior officer and kept it seems to me like I do a good job and its great to be apart of it because again this server does a great job making sure it is perfect
- I try to balance crim and PLPD. Many of my org members aren't very fond of it.
- No, Unfairness I believe anyone who is Staff SGT+ can never help you when you need help with something
- Mostly I like it, but it can be taxing. I got more fullfilling things I choose to be proud of.
My opinions seem to count.
- we gotta listen to sergeants like were dogs, cant have an opinion or idea w/o them crying rank wise
- i don't really have the biggest opinion on stuff but if i have i think they are pretty well received again i dont really have an opinion on stuff thats wy its a 5
- I make suggestions and ideas and they get shot down or told its a waste of time.
- we vote
- small little officer gets bitched around by everyone above him
- Seems like any decisions you make will not matter in jail cell block, at the NPC, because the suspect will request a supervisor (if there is one) that will probably disagree with your decision on arrest and then the suspect will eventually proceed with an IA that will have no actual consequences.
- Don't really share my opinions.
- In game, sure, but policy and law wise I've yet to encounter a time where they do count.
- the only time ive managed to be listened to is during bank raids as a SGT TFO when coordinating a plan. other than that, ive never been listened to on duty. As for opinions on the discord and website, im a little bit more heard, however i still feel like people dont really listen to me.
- I have also confirmed this w/ multiple command members. Whenever i had attempted to formulate a plan, people would just walk all over me and not listen to me whatsoever when it came to following the said plan, they would just nod and then do their own thing
- Why would it? I've been here since the very beginning, I've held command ranks in the past, I've trained people who went on to become chiefs, captains, etc. and no suggestion I ever make to improve the PD, enhance the depth of roleplay, make the experience more fun, improve the allure of the department, or anything of that nature, has ever been considered. On the contrary, they've been belittled or discarded, usually without serious explanation.
- I previously had an issue where I felt I had to make a complaint due to a lack of care from the command team which was promptly dealt with however before a complaint was made there seemed to no consideration or care for my request.
- It felt like the only way to move forward was to issue a complaint when issues should at least attempt to be handled before that stage.
- I've suggested something (I can't remember them now), and it feels like it went through one ear and out the other
- there is zero situations where anyone under commands opinions matter
- I am not sure TBH haven't suggested anything
- It doesnt
- No one cares about my suggestions or ideas or opinions
- Everytime I say my opinion it gets ignored or shrugged off
- some time
- Because as explained higher up keeps to themself and people they play with.
- Issues raised with command members this year were meet with an answer and been worked on.
- For the divisions I'm apart of they seem to count, cant comment on the others
What’s the best thing that has happened to you in the PLPD these past 3 months?
- Just generally being on duty ig
- Getting Traffic Officer
- i got Promoted to Senior Dispatch
- Honestly, That ive joined. I mean every time i get close to promotion or joining a division i get shot down
- Coming back
- i shot some people in cool ways
- Jailing a guy for like 19 times in 1 day because he kept on attacking me
- The best thing that has happened to me in the PLPD over the past three months has been meeting a group of dedicated and professional officers and continuously developing my skills as a law enforcement roleplay participant. Working alongside experienced and motivated members has provided valuable learning opportunities and practical insight into improving decision-making, communication, and overall performance as an officer.
- Additionally, the department encourages ongoing learning, and I have benefited from consistently acquiring new information through guides, procedures, and real-time experience. This continuous development mindset has significantly contributed to my growth and effectiveness within the PLPD.
- Probably getting RTFO
- The experience in a raid, the amount of adrenaline you get when you shoot the suspects with the most basic glock will probably get you a applause from fellow officers and raise your mood, besides that, there isnt really anything that raises your mood being a basic officer without a bigger caliber weapons or any grenades to use in line of duty
- Promoted to CPL
- RTU and Corporal promotion
- probabbly getting IA and traffic trainer. It was really fun being part of both divisions
- getting captain!
- I cannot think of a thing.
- I have had the opportunity to patrol with friends within the department? not a lot really
- became a senior officer
- Passing stage 1 + 2 of my Corporal application and passing dispatcher
- i got rtfo
- Honestly becoming corporal
- There is nothing super special to be fair, just having fun playing I guess
- Hitting an epic spike strip
- Nothing has changed in 3 months that affects myself so nothing really.
If you had a magic wand, what's the one thing you would change about PLPD?
- a corporal or above can allow u to gear up as rtfu instead of having to wait until 1 gears up as there's not always a corporal or above available to gear up themselves
- I would like to be able to call the owners of stolen cars as a SO, also I think that people who think they are being arrested wrongly by an officer with no rank should be able to call for a SO to give the other inside on the case as they have more knowledge. But i dont think that SO should be the one to give out punishments like sergeants do i just want them to be abel to give insides on cases where new players cops dont know that much
- Remove corruption (Big ask, I know)
- To get more CCTV Cameras
- More modern vehicles that regular patrol officers have access to hell at this point more different type of vehicles for patrol officers to use would be nice, I'd take a chevy blazer at this point. Also add an investigations division, like homicide or gang task force, narcotics, or something in those lines for players who like the long game rp stuff. Give players other avenues to go down instead of just tactical or traffic.
- Make people more serious and have supervisors actually act when people minge.
- PSD transparency
- No dispatchers
- the one change I would make to the PLPD would be to strengthen early support and integration for new officers. New officers should not be left to operate alone without sufficient guidance, especially during their initial period in the department.
- A structured approach could be implemented where the officer in charge conducts a brief gathering or briefing at the start of a shift. This would allow new officers to be grouped with experienced professionals, encouraging mentorship, knowledge transfer, and real-time learning. Such an approach would help new members build confidence, improve performance, and integrate more effectively into departmental operations.
- Implementing this change would promote consistency, reduce mistakes, and foster a more supportive and professional training culture within the PLPD.
- Nothing drastic probably just higher OR requirements.
- The ranking up in the game, i would add some sort of another application for a bigger gun for officers, like the taser application, just for example an SMG, not talking about a M4 or something like that, because there exist TFO rank for that, but like a automatic small gun that officers would be able to carry in duty besides that small pocked gun
- Give myself SW MODEL 500
- Make disciplinary action be a lot less punishing for honest mistakes.
- command team shuffle especially inactive members
- Server related rule breakings that are not tied to department policy should not lead to reprimands (such as a warning for NLR).
- less strict and harsh punishments. I've seen too many new players just leave the department because they aren't treated with any sort of respect. Afterall, everyone is here to have fun. I feel like regulating everyone and demoting/discharging them for making 1 mistake is a little excessive. Especially in the case of new players/newer officers
- I would do away with the rank of Corporal, or rework it so there is a penultimate rank for experienced officers who aren't able to maintain consistent activity. It is a pointless rank in it's current form.
- IA and CC need to clean house and have people who will have our backs
- SGT's + are assigned a select number of active SO+CPL's and are responsible for providing support to those officers if there are any questions or if they want to take part in OR's, join alternative sub divisions. In addition, an easy feedback submission can be provided by CPL+ for minor issues they notice officers undertaking. This is then directed to their SGT who will give feedback and chat with them appropriately.
- This could also be a voluntary role, as I know some SGT's don't want any additional admin
- make lower ranks be able to answer 911 calls, as it seems like 9 times out of 10 my call doesn't get answered, and a lot of the time I'm in a situation where I can't type
- Captain of Rtu
- Improve vehicle models (project I am working on (even tho it will not be added)) and maybe an explorer
- Reset everything and choose a community chosen chief
- make it so it doesn't have to be so staff-oriented to get things
- Some policies and recognition of some members who deserve to be recognized
- give the sw to lower ranks and make it a bit easy to become a supervisor so we can have more
- Stop the favouritism and power tripping
- Observation Reports, no one wants to do them and they are mandatory to have a higher rank, they often get filled in with things that didn't happen just to have made them. Or make applications for DNA Scanner, setting warrants etc. Things Sergeants get.
- Make RTFOs actually able to self deploy and respond to things, as in give them a vehicle, instead of having it unable to do so via ingame mechanics OR change the policies to better reflect their learning role. At this point, it is simply frustrating.
- The toxicity. I feel like I can never win. If I don’t use comms enough, people complain and be rude, if I use it too much / give slightly wrong info, people complain. Pistol cops are seen as the bottom of the barrel. Even as a senior, I feel this way. Most situations, including shootouts, is when this is felt the most. Armed response 100% gets priority in a situation, but it’s taken too far.
- “Pistol cops” get a bad rep, as if being a Porto cop means you are brand new. People throw the term around when referring to a new / inexperienced player, which also means it gets labeled when you do something they do not like, which is unfair. When I was new, this made it harder a lot as I always knew when I did something incorrect, but no one told me why.
- Make becoming a SGT back to how it was / not as easy as it is now.
