We've already spoken about this at length, most recently in October, but it still really sucks to see you go. It's been a pleasure having you around and I can't believe another one of my oldhead friends is leaving. I hope we can still talk from time to time and I hope to see you around for some shenanigans every now and again. Aladeen 1, out.

Hey,

Unfortunately this is a bit of a more somber message from me than what you may be used to. Effective immediately, I will be resigning as an Admin. As I am sure many of you have noticed, I have not been anywhere near as active as I once was. I have grown exponentially busier since spring after picking up a fantastic new job. On top of this, I also run two businesses from home and with those doing well I have little free time which is certainly a fantastic problem to have.


I have been considering resigning for a very long time now, maybe over a year and a half, but have been unable to let go. I first started playing PERP when I was about 12-13 years old, where I was instantly captivated by the RP, and how real it felt. I quickly got taken under the wings of some veterans who let me hang around their orgs, and all of it just felt like an insane high that no other server could offer. From the jailbreaks, org meetings, 12 fps shootouts, and general banter, it was an extremely unique experience. Unfortunately, the server and community no longer feel this way which is extremely saddening, but bound to happen when you have been around for 10+ years. I truly wish that some of you would be able to experience what PERP was like on V2, absolute peak and nothing will ever top it. With so many old players having left, my friends, and essentially all NA staff, it is time to face the ugly truth of the fact that this was very long overdue.


I am extremely glad to have been a part of this community, and especially the staff team. I am happy with all the reform I have lead internally, and with the great growth we have had within the staff team and community as well. I have always considered who I would tag in my goodbye post, knowing that I will have to grow out of this community eventually, but the list would easily contain over 100 people. Below I will give just a couple of special thanks on my way out the door.


@Fredy - Thank you for creating the server along with all the other owners. If it wasn’t for this, I would never have met my best & life-long friends that I have today, nor would I have some of the most memorable gaming experiences as a child. We may have had our differences in the last 10 years but I strongly appreciate you being there for me when it mattered.


@Collier - We go back…like way back man. We used to be a lot closer, but I can’t ever forget our Wadiya days, 2018 pd fun, and all the other stupid shit we used to do. If it wasn’t for you, I would have resigned a long time ago but you somehow convinced me to stay (Fuck you). Similarly, you were the catalyst in getting me to Admin, and I appreciate you sticking up for me always. You were also instrumental in getting me Enforcer the first time around! Sorry for the sudden resignation, xoxo. Also, get the fuck off bluesky bro, SERIOUSLY? Hmu on Truth. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!


@Efan Sup mophead, don’t know if you even check the forums but we have most certainly had our beefs previously but I am glad we were able to squash it and work shit out. You had told me that you recommended me for admin and I was shocked, but it certainly lit that fire so thank you for getting my foot in the door there, wouldn’t have happened without you. Who would have thought that would’ve been the case after you decided to make an example out of Kenty and me by having us be the first comms banned people! Dickhead.


@A1L We have had plenty of funny memories since 2019, on things like SCP and PERP alike, where you went from the bullied cripple kid to somehow being a Senior Admin. You deserved it and im comfortable that you will be able to manage everything well. Don’t forget the $20 tho fatass. We’ll keep in touch fs, but dude seriously, grow a fucking spine and some balls. I'll be real, when I tried this server out I didn't really like you Aquaa, nor did I like anybody in the NWA as you guys killed me repeatably. Over the short amount of interactions we shared I learned you weren't a bad guy out to ruin my fun, but you were just having a good time yourself always seemingly up to something. I think when you turned into Asian men I really began to realize, maybe these guys aren't so bad after all.
Between you and Steelo you guys easily became my preferred staff to deal with or just see online because you always seemed to me as one of the better staff members, taking your duties seriously (enough) and working to maintain a good community while being very understanding in certain scenarios when handling reports and not just seeing things black and white.
