I have an intel pentium processor. I was looking at my startup details and noticed I had an "AMD Dual core optimiser". Is it normal to have AMD tech when you have an intel processor? I dont remember ever installing it.

From a thread I saw elsewhere it stated

'It's an application sometimes installed with certain games that allow dual core AMD CPUs to perform better. You can safely remove it'
