*HELP* New PC Build

a really good pc, although the case looks shit so might wanna change that and itll be sexy

Hello, I made this build and I want to justify myself before I get fucked in the ass

He will buy it shortly, he will not wait for Ryzen 3000 which will hopefully tear ass if the Cinebench from the CES reveal holds true.
Intel2expensive, AM4 currently has a better upgrade path for the next year.
Added a Noctua NH-D15 for better cooling headroom and OC potential.
We were looking for something like a 1070 or 1080 but since they're not widely available in new (and are expensive) I decided to go with a RTX 2070 since it's about 20 to 30% better in userbenchmarks compared to a 1070. Also comes with RTX cores as a bonus if he's into it, if a high end Turing card (not 1660Ti) will come out without RTX cores it's gonna be rip.
3TB hard drive is $2 more expensive than 2TB, why not lmao
Case is same as mine, recommmended it since it has amazing cable management, airflow and PWM hub.
NT-H2 since the H1 that comes with the D15 is a bit whack. Better cooling so why not.

Budget was $1400-$1500

If the 3000 is coming out this month or next i can wait cus im not really rushing to get off of geforce lol

3xxx is the cpu, 3rd Generation Ryzen (Zen 2)

the Geforce Turing card is the GPU, I don't know if a high end one without RTX cores is coming out soon. We only got a 1660 recently but it's mid to high end range.

That case for 100$ is ugly as hell.
Just get a phanteks eclipse p400s for the same price, it looks way better and cable managment is basically the same. ( This is the one i have )
