personally i find it kind of annoying when reading things, so i removed it using Adblock plus. i seriously could not find a button on plpd.online so please let me know if that exists, if it doesnt, here's how i did it.
All you need to add is the following lines to block
plpd.online###snow
plpd.online###lightrope for the lightrope
(click the extension, then click block element, click something random and swap the text
