Hi there guys, in the latest Admin meeting we went over a couple of rules which seem to of slipped in terms of general enforcement.

3.24 (Staying In Character)
This rule is broken quite a lot during different situations, from a simple arrest to full blown shootouts. Its important that players understand that remaining in character at all possible times is incredibly important. Shouting things like "I'm getting an admin, hold your horses" whilst being arrested completely destroys the role play situation briefly and lowers the bar generally for role play. This issue is prevalent with both older and new players, and isn't acceptable at all.

3.4 (Shootouts)
The part of this rule that we've had issues with recently seems to be people standing around in shootouts, and remaining in areas for prolonged amounts of time after committing serious crimes. If you get caught up in a shootout, assess the risks before getting involved, and decide if it's the best choice to do so for yourself. Standing around unarmed whilst bullets fly past your head is completely unacceptable, get as far away from the area as quickly as you can.

Both of these issues need ironing out, and staff members will be taking harsher stances on players doing either of the above. We thought we'd let you know prior to this, and give you a heads up of what we're expecting of you whilst role playing.

Thank you
Senior Administration
