Los Zetas
Who are Los Zetas?
Los Zetas are widely known as one of the most dangerous cartels in Mexico, and have been operating since the late 1990s. The majority of their crimes are drug/weapon trafficking, human trafficking, bombing and of course murder.
Territory
While the majority of their territory is within Mexico (mostly the northern states) there are many operations in the US, including Paralake City (a perfect place to operate given its violence).
Their ranking system
Drug Lord (Capo)
This person is the leader of the operations in Paralake. He controls all the members of the cartel and makes important decisions.
Lieutenants (Lugartenientes)
These are high ranking members of the cartel. They are in charge of their own gang of hitmen and soldiers
Hitmen (Sicarios)
The main armed group of the cartel. They are usually tasked with carrying out assassinations, theft, kidnappings and defence.
Falcons (Halcones)
These are usually associates of the cartel and will remain anonymous. They act as the eyes and ears of the cartel and report anything that could negatively affect the cartel's operations.
Weaponry

Weaponry
The AK-47
First created by Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1947, this weapon is both accurate and packs a punch. Used by lots of militaries around the world, it is a very reliable but is an expensive weapon to obtain in Paralake. They use this for almost everything when they can.
The M4A1
The M4A1, a modern rifle that, like the AK47, deals a lot of damage. The variants generally used by them don't come with any attachments.
The Desert Eagle
A weapon originally made in Israel. This pistol has a lot of raw power, hence its usage.. It isn't usually seen as accurate, so it's not very often it is used long range situations.
The Barrett M82
This is mostly used in situations which involve disabling a car, however it can even be used in defence and general combat from a range.
M68 Grenade
It's pretty self explanatory. It blows up.
