WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ENFORCER:
Introduction
Hello, my real name is Jamie Gilroy and I am 16 years old born in Malmö/Sweden. I have been playing perp for a long time, since the end of 2014, I have been playing on and off. I think the most of you know who I am but if you don't what I do when I play on the server I'm either a cop or own a casino for some passive RP. Before I was a bit hated I believe after being accused of cheating at a CSGO tournament hosted by Perpheads tho I didn't cheat, but I believe it has gotten better now and I think at least people like me.
So what kind of guy am I? I Believe I am a nice guy, I'm hardworking and really motivated about a lot of stuff. I love sports, I never miss a game when my local team Malmö FF plays and I play rugby myself. Something I want to do is to enforce the server rules and be apart of the staff team, its something I have wanted to apply for a long time, I did once but it got denied not to long ago, and I have been wanting to do it before that but as you might now my ban and warning record is horrible but I have grown up and I'm not as stupid anymore. When I'm not at school I either go to the gym or I play on PERPheads.
Why should I be picked?
So i have been here for a long time and I have learned a lot about the server when I have been here. My record looks like trash but I have become a better community member and I think I could offer the staff team with a lot of help.
To be staff I believe you need to be mature, have good communication skills, helpful and be able to take leadership of different situations. I believe I got all of those skills and I will be able to use those skills to enforce the server rules.
In the past 1-2 months, I have been trying to help people in a lot of ways. I have given away tons of money maybe 600K-700K to different type of people but mostly to new players. I have also spent a lot of time explaining different rules that new players tend to break and showing them around the map and answering any questions they have. I have also been active in the help chat and answering any questions I stumble upon. I'm just trying to be a good impact and I enjoy helping people.
I got a really good understanding of the server rules and I am capable of deciding who is right and wrong in different kinds of disputes in admin sits, and I will take both parties evidence in accounting. I'm not a biased person and I think that's a really important thing as well if you are going to be a staff member, and I will take all peoples words in accounting no matter who it is and not be corrupt in any way because if there is something I hate its people being corrupt. And when it comes to AR's I will try to get a statement from the person who the AR is directed to so he can say something about it that would help him. And everybody deserves the same kind of treatment no matter if I know one better then the other.
I'm also not scared of asking people about stuff if I am having any trouble with something, so if there is something I'm unsure about I will just ask another staff member for help in example if there would be something I'm not 100% to make a good decision and not do something that is wrong. I think that's really important as well to keep the professional standards of the staff team high.
My communication skills are not an issue, I have been talking English my entire life tho I live in Sweden. My dad is from New Zealand and he doesn't speak Swedish so I talk English at home. I can work excellent in a team and if I do stuff on my own. I can talk to people in a proper way without any problems at all and I'm good at explaining stuff to people as well. I actually think I speak English more than Swedish the only place I speak Swedish is in school and with some friends otherwise, at home English, rugby practice English, friends on the computer and some irl friends English.
I'm currently apart of the PLPD and I'm a Police Training Officer, a dispatcher and currently Corporal trying to get Sgt sometime soon. I love the PLPD something I really enjoy being apart of. Whilst I have been in the PD I have learned a lot of different things that could help me when being a staff member, from rule knowledge to discipline.
It's important to see if something is intentional or an incident when being a staff member because everybody makes mistakes and I got a good understanding about that and its important to listen to people when talking to them if they do something stupid and judge from that if its a mistake or an intentional rule break.
My brother is also a community manager on Zarp and it seems to be fun being in a staff team, I know that PERPheads won't be the same thing as Zarp. Its a completely different server. But still it seems to be a really fun thing and I want to show that I'm a better staff member then he will ever be, and show that PERPheads is a much better community. We are quite competitive but I always come on top. I have listened in on what he talked about when performing staff duties and it seems like something I would be good at doing.
My ban/warning history
I know it looks horrible.... but the most of the bans are from when I was quite young and I have become a better person and I have a much better understanding of the rules.
I have learned a lot after my bans I have read through the rules a couple times and I have gained much more rule knowledge now.
We are all human and we do mistakes and have some bad times, and I believe that everybody deserves a chance to redeem them selfs in some way as I mentioned above.
SUMMARY: So what I have mentioned is what I can do to enforce the rules, I have mentioned some stuff about myself, some stuff about how I help people at the moment and some stuff about my ban/warning record
ARE YOU ACTIVE ON THE TEAMSPEAK: Yes, I'm always in TeamSpeak when I'm on my computer, usually in the dispatcher room or talking to jarheads people.
