Welcome to the August 2023 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. Hi all, and thank you for reading the August edition of the Monthly Newsletter. As always, we have had another productive month and our administrative staff have done an excellent job at recruitment, management and investigations. Due to the huge numbers of players on the server, Internal Affairs have seen massive amounts of complaints, and I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all the investigators and complaint committee for their extra hard work. We’ve also seen a few medals issued this month, which is fantastic to see, and I am aware that more are expected to be issued in September, so well done to all of those who obtained one.
I was on LOA for June and July due to personal commitments, however, I am now back in full swing and will be working closely with the senior management team and command teams to drive the Department forward and make positive changes. The recent feedback from the Employee Satisfaction Survey has been beneficial for us to be able to make changes with the Department, so thank you to all of those who opted to participant in that. I have recently been working with server developers to get some new content added for the Department, and hopefully it won’t be long before this is live on the main server - I think you are all going to love the changes. As always, my inbox as well as John Davids’ inbox are always open, and you can send us a message no matter how big or small the question is.

Officer of the Month - August 2023

Police Meritorious Achievement
Awarded to: Sergeant Bogdan Dogdan 5493 (Tommy Peterson)
"Since becoming a Traffic Trainer Tommy has displayed good work ethic within the Traffic division with the newly released handbook, for this we have decided to award him the Police Meritorious Achievement Award. Since Tommy got Trainer, he still hasn't failed to impress the command team with his amazing attitude towards the division and PD as a whole. We are extremely appreciative for everything that you have done!"

Tyler was bought in to create and manage the documentation involving our supervised patrol scheme. Tyler took up a challenge and delivered without compromise. We would like to wish Tyler prosperity and success with any and all future endeavours they take upon within and outside of the department"
