3600 is really good. My friend manages to get 144 FPS on Apex with it on a RX 480 4GB so you're fine, just make sure that the board you're getting is actually Zen 2/Ryzen 3000 compatible/ready. It was advertised as ready for my friend on the box (Asrock B450M Pro4) but I had to come over and install my old 1600 and update the BIOS, pay some money to the vendor you're buying from to make sure it works properly.

Also no need to get 3600MHz, it is actually the sweet spot for Zen 2 but get some 3000 or 3200 RAM and OC it if it's cheaper, it should easily reach 3600. G.Skill is IMO the best.

Upgraded from a 1600 to a 3700x and I couldn't be happier. Zen 2 shreds ass.

Get a really nice case, I made the mistake of getting a poor airflow case and it fried my cooler in a week
