after 1 day of using it, I compare it to my last mouse, Razer Ballistik V3.
While the GPX 2 doesn’t have the free scroll feature that the razer mouse does on the wheel, it is more comfortable to use overall.
Also there is a software feature to mitigate accidental scrolls called BHOP.
The side buttons feel so much easier to use.
The mouse is mod-able as it comes with grip tape for all sides, skates can be changed, and it comes with a gliding puck on the bottom to increase friction which can be exchanged easily for a normal one. (A circle of white skate vs a circle of non-skate material on the bottom)
I was right to consider leaving ergonomic mice in general. The mouse feels more comfortable with its lighter weight, does not mold my hand into any pre-set ergo shape, the clicks feel nice, and the wireless connectivity is great.
Best of all, I can uninstall Razer Synapse.
