NEW MOUSE

I'm using a Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K it's a great wireless mouse.

I have had to RMA things with Razer before and had no problems what so ever
To be fair the last time I had to use their warranty options, was in 2013 when I had a razer deathadder. I had a horrible time with them to say the least but who knows maybe today they have streamlined it. I still think razer products are a bit iffy besides their wireless headphones however. Speaking from personal experience I have not had a good time with them.

I got my superlight on sale for 70 bucks at best buy which is actually cheaper than the viper where I live so...

A very fancy mouse, highly suggested! It does however tend to move around on its own.

I use the same one just the non Pro version. But for me, claw grip is important and I’ve been wondering how it would be without an ergonomic mouse. I got the Ballistik V3 after getting sick of the G502 Hero

I know Lightspeed 2 is popular. Not sure if Viper V3 Pro is better or worse, but looking up the specs comparatively I found this

I use the Razer Viper Ultimate, mainly because I use my mouse with my left-hand and need a truly ambidextrous mouse with side buttons on both sides (don’t ask what my keyboard binds look like).

I’d say it’s as good as any other mouse, however if you want to charge your mouse wired when it’s ran out of juice then you best hope you’ve kept Razer’s included Micro-B cable because you need the proprietary one as any standard one simply won’t fit. The docking station over time has also become a pain as now the mouse has to be in just the right position for it to receive any charge.

Hopefully they’ve addressed those issues in newer revisions. I also own one of their analog keyboards and it’s not great. When it comes time to purchasing new gear I probably won’t be buying from Razer.

My recommendation would be to look at reviews by RocketJumpNinja. He has a website that you can filter based on your hand size and he has a useful video explaining how to measure properly, and has reviewed tons of mice. Most of the time with newer mice from known brands, his conclusion is that all of the sensors perform about the same and wireless is as good as wired nowadays - instead what it comes down to is size, shape and weight.

EDIT: I’ll also add that Razer Synapse is the biggest pile of dogshit software I’ve ever used, though I know most peripheral software from most brands a lot to be desired.

i knew you where a doom main thats why we get along

On a real one tho, this isnt gonna be a liked suggestion but its my opinion

Razer Deathadder V2 Pro
Nice feel, nice weight not too heavy not too light, accurate, wireless but can plug in while charging
Cost effective might be an important thing to mention too, as with G305.

Ive been using deathadders since 2017, first wired one lasted me till 2023 (i decided to try open it up and clean it and it cracked) still worked perfectly but fuckk that mouse was worn LOL ill try find a pic sometime

In 2023 got a Deathadder v2 pro, broke after 6 months so mid 2024 got another one and its been working till now. Think I just got unlucky, razer is generally shit tho but i just love this mouse cant be arsed with anything else

**Correction** I used a corsair harpoon for like 2 weeks in 2019 ish, fucking broke never returned it went back to my deathadder

I’m not sure if it’s with all Razer mice, but I love the tethered wire that feels weightless. There is no going wrong with wired mice because I legit don’t notice or feel my wire like 90% of my time with the Ballistik V3

Can’t say the same with the Logitech G502 Hero

And the weight thing on the bottom did nothing but stress me out, constantly fiddling with it and never feeling content with what I use.

Unfortunate razer mice are the only razer device that are good and isnt landfill worthy

I had the G502 till the braided cable got unbraided and traded it in for the g502 hero. Been using it for the past 6 years or so, can't complain. You can adjust the weight of the mouse with the little weights that are included.
