NEW MOUSE

G502X Wireless. I honestly forget it needs to get charged. With heavy use, I charge it once per week or two?

I did have to get the first one replaced under warranty because the charging port ignited, but I'd burn down a house any day for this mouse.

Thats conserning that the charging port caught on fire ngl... what where u using rocket fuel

I have a G903 and its great for me as i like heavy mouses personally + added weights

@Lau chong i would def recommend the hitscan, its very light weight, a bit smaller than the logitech you used to have and the quality of the clicking with the mouse is huge in comparison to the logitech and its wireless asw with very good battery life.

Thanks all for your help with this ive gone ahead and purchased the Logitech G pro X superlight 2 wireless mouse.

If you're already used to the shape of your Logitech mouse, then just getting the Logitech G Pro 2 is fine since it’s the same shape but with some upgrades.

I've gone through a lot of different gaming mice when I was aim-training a lot back in the day (2020–2023), and one of the two biggest factors I can tell you that does make a difference is the mouse shape and how light the mouse is (the lighter the mouse, the better). Ignore all the fanboys of different brands calling you a sheep for sticking with the Logitech G Pro, there is no point in changing your mouse to a different model now unless you want to experiment more and try different shapes. The G Pro works just fine, especially if you’re already used to the shape.

You should also consider a lot of other factors for when you do want to experiment with other mice. You've already bought the G Pro, but here are some additional things you should consider for next time:

  • What type of mouse grip do you have? Claw grip? Palm grip? Fingertip grip? This will help you decide on the size and shape of your mouse (along with how big your hand is). As @Acerius said in his post, I highly recommend checking https://www.rocketjumpninja.com/products/mice if you want help finding the perfect shape for yourself.

  • As mentioned earlier, the lighter the mouse, the easier it is to control (in my experience). You need to find a good compromise between the mouse shape and how light the mouse is.

  • It's 2025, wireless mice are king right now.

  • Don’t worry about sensors unless you’re buying some random Chinese knockoff mouse. Every proper mouse has a good sensor in 2025.

Also, I'm going to say this now: there might be a chance that your new Superlight mouse will feel fast and your aim will feel off. That’s because the mouse feet need to be worn down, so just play around with it for about a week and you should be fine.

There are many other factors that I left out in this post because, let’s be honest, you’re playing G-Mod, you’re not trying to get top 10 scores in Kovaaks or Aimlabs. The mouse you picked will do you wonders; just make sure that you practice the core fundamentals of FPS games and don’t stress too much over your mouse model, sensitivity, mousepad, etc.

Hope this info was somewhat useful to you!

I use the Razer Viper Ultimate, mainly because I use my mouse with my left-hand and need a truly ambidextrous mouse with side buttons on both sides (don’t ask what my keyboard binds look like).

I’d say it’s as good as any other mouse, however if you want to charge your mouse wired when it’s ran out of juice then you best hope you’ve kept Razer’s included Micro-B cable because you need the proprietary one as any standard one simply won’t fit. The docking station over time has also become a pain as now the mouse has to be in just the right position for it to receive any charge.

Hopefully they’ve addressed those issues in newer revisions. I also own one of their analog keyboards and it’s not great. When it comes time to purchasing new gear I probably won’t be buying from Razer.

My recommendation would be to look at reviews by RocketJumpNinja. He has a website that you can filter based on your hand size and he has a useful video explaining how to measure properly, and has reviewed tons of mice. Most of the time with newer mice from known brands, his conclusion is that all of the sensors perform about the same and wireless is as good as wired nowadays - instead what it comes down to is size, shape and weight.

EDIT: I’ll also add that Razer Synapse is the biggest pile of dogshit software I’ve ever used, though I know most peripheral software from most brands a lot to be desired.
I'm also using the Razer Viper Ultimate and I am very satisfied with it.
However, I also have the exact same problem with the docking station (what helped is cleaning it with q-tips covered in a bit of alcohol 70%.)

What is your budget and what shape do you use?

I literally got a Superlight 2 delivered today after using the first version since its release so literal years. Best mouse I have ever used, never any problems other than gunk which will happen to any mouse over time. Just clean it and the buttons work fine again
It was on sale for 99 from 150-ish, wouldn’t have gotten it for the msrp price.
