depends on your budget. No matter what, get a 7200rpm Hard drive, and avoid seagate.
If you want to plan a little into the future, get at least a 500gb or thereabouts ssd as a boot drive. In terms of storage that's about it.

That's a solid option, I've got several of those, never had an issue with em, but there may be cheaper options. You could get a QVO instead of an EVO, that would be a bit cheaper, and almost the same in terms of speed.
