depends on your budget. No matter what, get a 7200rpm Hard drive, and avoid seagate.
If you want to plan a little into the future, get at least a 500gb or thereabouts ssd as a boot drive. In terms of storage that's about it.

these are some more expensive options but will set you up for a while. if you want to sheap out get a western digital 1-2TB hard drive and an EVO SATA SSD as primary OS drive

That's a solid option, I've got several of those, never had an issue with em, but there may be cheaper options. You could get a QVO instead of an EVO, that would be a bit cheaper, and almost the same in terms of speed.

The 860 QVO is thirty bucks cheaper and more applicable for game storage

thanks, i think ill stick with the samsung one as it is very reliable my friends had one for 3 years never had an issue
