Suggestion Title: New police Codes: Code 6A + Code 6B
Suggestion Description: Adding the following new Police codes to the text radio system, with the following meaning and justified use:
Code 6A: “Officers withdraw unless in TFU Gear.” An ideal radio code to announce a major situation which standard officers are not equipped to deal with. Currently we have a major issue, particularly in confined space situations like slums, office and Projex, where officers bodyblock their colleagues, Get flashbanged by TFU because they don’t know how stun grenades work, and overall endanger themselves and their colleagues by behaving like an idiot. Furthermore they focus on the known suspects and contain and secure the situation, meaning that they aren’t prepared for flankers. Code 6A would be entirely useful in rectifying this issue and give us a code for telling officers to fall back and hold outside. Other instances of appropriate use of Code 6A would be hostage situations and bomb sightings.
Code 6B: “Stay out of area: Volatile substance found”: To be used when active Methamphetamine is found in a property, as well as meth fires, flaming fuel tanks, Dangerous fires or risk of explosion or harm from chemicals. This message is to inform officers to withdraw, cordon off the area and call the appropriate services.
Why should this be added?:
- Quicker way of telling non essential personnel to withdraw immediately.
- Makes sense especially given our game mode.
- Better and more discreet communication.
What negatives could this have?:
- Not a real police radio code (Waaaaaaaaaah)
