Ive been thinking about releasing a new site, which will be somewhat similar to perpmarket (possibly a sub-section), though specialised for large orders.
The current idea is as follows,
Buyers can create an order, where they will give a description, and tinycalc basket data
Crafters can then "bid" on the order, giving details such as their bid amount (the amount they will charge for it crafted), whether payment is required beforehand or after, and an ETA after payment.
The buyer can then select a bid to go with, and the crafter will be notified, and they can contact eachother through steam or ingame phone number, both linked to the account.
Currently, payment would be done directly between the crafter and buyer, and the site would only be a means as to advertise what you want, and effectively contact crafters for your order.
I'd like to iron out some details, such as making all bids public, or if people would prefer their bid on an "order" was private, it could be kept that way.
What do you guys think about a site like this, crafters, in particular, I'd like to hear your opinions. I feel like this system heavily benefits buyers and I worry it will mean crafters cuts will decrease, forcing maybe more known crafters who have higher cuts out of the site.
